I don't think I've ever left a review before but we always have a great meal at Maki, whether in the restaurant or more often... for take out. Amazing sushi, service and bar! Our server, Ariel, made a huge impact on finally submitting a review. She was soon point throughout the meal (drinks filled, coursed perfectly, table tidied, etc.) and went above and beyond entertaining anddistracting when our toddler started hitting their limit on the evening so that we could still enjoy a much needed evening outwith family. Best sushi in Anderson! Lots of other options to choose from too. My wife and I truly enjoyed our experience at Maki. The food... was great. The service was great even though they were VERY busy. The atmosphere is really nice. And it?s right downtownAnderson where things are happening and growing fast. The sushi is so delicious. We tried a couple of options. I had the searedtuna entree with the rice and all of it was so good! The calamari was good but not quite what we hoped for. Our standard forcalamari might be a little skewed though because we had our favorite calamari ever in Jamaica a couple of months ago. Thedrinks were also great. We tried a few different ones and there is a great selection to choose from. Our server was friendlyand attentive. The place was hopping and we really enjoyed the vibe. The taste was phenomenal and the presentation was fabulous! I sat outside on the front and had great service and delicious 126... roll for dinner with seaweed salad. I will definitely be going back for my sushi fix in Anderson! Read more
