We were the only people in the store, but it still took about 20 minutes to get anything. The crust, as I've experienced it on... multiple occasions, is 75% raw and unpleasantly heavy. There's virtually no sauce and all the toppings, from the meat, to thecheese to the peppers, are almost undistinguishable from eachother with their bland, lifeless flavor. Read more
I?m an Uber/Door Dash driver and have done probably 10 deliveries through Gambinos now. Tonight?s experience would be a 6 star... review if that was possible. The order was ready and waiting and the gentleman up front was very friendly and welcoming, whichgoes a long way with me. Gambinos was the first job I had growing up and it makes me happy to see the next generation of youngguys and gals still holding down the fort and treating people so nicely. Had the lunch buffet. It was okay when we got there then they brought out fresh pizza which was great!
I won't get into the particulars of my experience here but it was not enjoyable. I can say the only thing that saved this from... being a 1 star review was the young African American black man who came from out the kitchen to help me because the two otheremployees who were there were totally incompetent and didn't have a clue what to do. I stopped in for lunch. It was a hot summer day so when the cashier asked if i wanted to upgrade to a large soda i said yes. I... filled my cup with lemonade and got a large plate of salad to start my meal. I picked through the brown lettuce and gotsomething edible. There were lots of options for toppings; eggs, tomato, green peppers, pepperoni, cheese, carrots, olives andmore. I loaded it up with ranch and sat down. The ranch was a good flavor and the salad was pretty tasty. I went back to thebuffet to get some pizza. There was only three slices left, so i took them all. The ham & pineapple tasted ok but had beensitting for a while. The chicken bacon ranch was really tasty, and a little cold. The barbecue beef was sweet but needed moremeat. On my second trip through they added more pizzas and i sampled around and was unimpressed. All in all not worth the $10per person. I dont think i will be returning anytime soon. I put in an order for delivery tonight. My cell reception was bad and cutting in and out. We the delivery driver showed up he... had my pizzas, but not my pepperoni rolls. I asked him about them and he showed me my receipt and they were not on there.Mistakes happen and I did not pay for them. The pizza he brought was fresh and hot. I paid, tipped the driver And wished him agood evening. My family and I sat down and started eating our dinner. While eating out doorbell rang. It was the delivery driveragain. Just that quick he drove to Gambino's and back to drop off a fresh box of pepperoni rolls at no charge, then apologizedfor the mix up.
