My dad has been coming here since 1989. He stared bringing me when I was around 6. It's such a treat once a year and a pretty... drive from Rochester! Generations of pancake greatness???? (make sure you go down stairs and look at all the equipment they useto make maple syrup!) Read more

A local staple in the community for years. The workers are super nice and the food is great. I always try to stop for lunch... after work when I'm in the area. I was in and out in less than a hour. They don't accept card so always bring cash or a check???? Try to go on weekdays, there is always no line and it's less crowded for sure. Mornings are better also. I visited on aFriday and it was busy but not packed. Read more

I drove an hour and half to come here. It was worth every minute of the drive. All you can eat buckwheat pancakes are fantastic... with real maple syrup made on site. If you leave hungry your doing it wrong. Read more

They are only open a couple minutes months a year for breakfast. We make the 1.5 hour drove every year as a tradition for all... you can eat pancakes with fresh made maple syrup. This is a MUST. You also learn about syrup is made. The drive is beautiful andit?s such a special family memory we make every year. Read more

Cartwright's is a awesome place to check out atleast once a year. They are open only for a little longer than 2 months a year.... They are known for their Maple syrup and buckwheat pancakes. The pancakes are unlimited for everyone that comes for a meal. My cousin and I drive an hour and a half each year to have breakfast at this spot at this pancake spot. People from localsand travelers stop here. They have been around for many many years. Have made alot of people and families happy during theFebruary, March and April months. Many countdown to the next year's opening when they close for the season. I would give it a4.7 out of 5. Waitresses and food are great. The only reason why I don't give it the top rating is because I wish there wasmore of a selection on the menu. Read more

I'm not fond of buttermilk pancakes but Cartwright's buckwheat pancakes are worth the trip. I always eat three of them every... time I visit. There are lots of other items available if you prefer. The best part of my visits to Cartwright's is the customerservice. No matter how busy they are, and they get seriously busy, everyone always has a smile, a refill for your coffee or afresh plate of pancakes for you. The staff here is amazing and they deserve recognition for all their wonderful service. Trytheir sausage patties with your pancakes, they have great flavor and aren't greasy at all. I picked up a 2lb bag of pancakebatter for only $6 to make at home after Cartwright's closes for the season. They are open for a very short while so make sureyou stop by! Read more
