We had 4 people seated and only two people ordered food; it costed 45$ for just two meals! Food wasn't even that grand either.... For a mexan restaurant we spoke spanish since my family couldn't speak English that well, but the lady said she CAN speakspanish but she prefers to just speak english. Personally I wouldn't come here again. Read more

The food is all homemade and delicious! Staff was quick and didn't have to wait for anything. Very enjoyable atmosphere they... set here. Altogether it made for a great place for our family to get together for a while and catch up on things. When your donewith the delicious food, if you think you can fit more in your stomach, try the deep fried ice cream desert. It's plenty bigenough for two maybe even three people ! Had a wonderful experience Tonight. Read more

Food was good and came out hot. Good customer service by all staff. One negative they charged $3.50 for each basket of chips a... Sala. Most Mexican restaurants include with meals. I would go back again Read more

Really bad Mexican food. We ordered enchiladas and the chicken was saggy and tasteless and with all the cheese on top my kids... disliked it Also ordered a green Chile , the pork was not tender. The rice tasted like it wasn't fresh . They charge extra forchips. On top of that we were 6 people in total. They charge extra 18% gratitude On top they charge more extra to the other 2people that were already included in the gratitude charge. Not going back I don't recommend the food . Read more

We have been coming here for nearly two years on our frequent visits to Angels Camp. I must say we are ALWAYS satisfied and have... NEVER had a bad experience. The food is excellent, and the family-owned and operated staff are both friendly and professional.Tacos, Enchiladas, Tacos Pastor, Flautas and Fajitas are my personal favorite. Their chips are fresh and hot and they have twotypes of salsa, mild and hot/spicy. There are three Mexican restaurants in Angels Camp, ALL are VERY GOOD?we just happen toenjoy the food, service and overall vibe at La Hacienda. You can?t go wrong. Read more

Food is not bad but not anything outstanding either. Seemed to lack salt, but otherwise was fresh and tasted fine. Plates were... so hot I was concerned that there would be burn marks on the table. Methinks the chef likes his salamander a bit much. Servicewas good and attentive, if slightly imperfect. Had to come back to verify something, and the discount we were supposed to get(and that even appeared on the check) was never calculated in. Price for tea/soda is pretty steep. Probably won't be back. Read more

Funny story how my wife and I found this restaurant. We got back into town around 8pm and wanted some Chinese food. We Google... searched and found one next door to La Hacienda. Their business hours said it closes at 9pm but when got there, they had peoplein there but doors were locked and sign said closed. So instead of turning around we went next door. That was the best decisionwe made. Server was very nice. She wasn't pushy even tho it was late. Once we ordered, our food was ready within 10 minutes. Iordered the Carne asada rib eye cut and my wife ordered a steak salad. (BTW, it was so loaded, you couldn't tell it was asalad.) Steak came out perfectly and the portions were huge! I come from a big city with multiple Mexican restaurants that servegood food so it was a surprise to find a place like this in a small town. Will definitely stop by again if we're ever in townagain.
