Food was excellent. I had the blanco flatbread and it was super yummy! My friends had the club and the grilled cheese, both... thought they were tasty also. The building was a little hard to find. My GPS took me too far the wrong way. The Bistro is inthe middle section, with the bait and tackle on the front and the YoYo place on the back end. There is a large parking lotacross the street. We dined on the back patio in the shade. We were warned there might be bees but we wanted to be by the waterand watch the boaters. The Bistro was trying to attract the bees to the overflow section of the outside dining and we kept anextra menu to swat at any unwanted insects and it was not bad at all....well worth being outside in the gorgeous weather! When we placed our order my husband ordered fish and chips (fries) He was then asked what side as it included the side is what... was conveyed to us.He chose cole slaw. When our food came out his plate consisted of one small piece of fish, no fries and abowl of cole slaw. I asked where his fries were and they said well you substituted the fries for slaw. No so, again see what wassaid. When I looked at the order receipt it clearly states Add fish and chips add coleslaw. Again it was not was was told or onthe menu and to have been charged $15 for one piece of fish is shameful. The waitress said she was new one week, however; otherwaitress said the same thing. I gave the waitress a tip only because she was new and told us she was sorry. I have never everbeen to a restaurant that is this overpriced for what you get or not get. I will never ever recommend this restaurant. By theway I am not an inexperienced person in dining out. I am over 70 and have traveled all over. Never came across a restaurant thatangered me except for one and you were just added to that list. One other thing my husband was angered at. The manager or headwaitress listened partially to his complaint but then walked off before he could finish. Read more

Let me start that we should have left as soon as we were greeted. The servers first word were not hello, it was how many and we... don't split checks over 5 people. I was with my wife and children why would you think we would split checks? Next we elected tosit on the patio. The patio was wide open and we were the only table out there. (Great View by the way) Two of my kids wanted tosit in the shade, which we were promptly told we had to all sit together. I offered to have them pay their own bill to sit atthat seat and was also told no due to it getting busy. Now for the Drink, I ordered and iced tea. I was served iced coffee.Seems someone brewed coffee grounds instead of Tea absolutely gross turned my stomach sour. Ordered Mahi tacos, soggy tortillas,little chopped bits of fish, good flavor but slaw or sauce was warm which is odd. Stomach even more sour at this point if youget my drift. Upon leaving the restaurant it is completely empty so no lunch rush, my kids could have sat in the shade and Ileft my lunch in the parking lot if you know what I mean. Read more
