Food is unbelievable. I never had plantain prior to experiencing this place and it got me hooked. My ONLY COMPLAINT is that... they are closed Sunday and Mondays. As these are really the only two days I have available. I literally drive from Barrie, skipevery other restaurant/grocery store/fast food place just to get this delicious food. Jerk chicken is simply superb - tasty, flavorful. Chicken curry is also very tender and simple yet very tasty. Samosas are good.... Must must try and never to forget - their home made hot sauce and the green sauce they serve with samosa. And above the greatfood, fantastic hospitality and customer service. Ordered a Medium Jerk Chicken and the portion was perfect! I really appreciated the fact that they cut the chicken for you so it... makes things easier. The chicken definitely has a little of a spice kick to it. There were three other people in front of me,not a long wait. Would definitely come back to try the fried chicken and patties! Read more

Amazing!! My husband and I randomly found this place a few weeks ago when we were in the area. The food was delicious and... exactly what I have been missing since moving to Simcoe some years ago. Mona was so lovely and welcoming to talk to, I feltinstantly comfortable and relaxed as if talking to a long time family friend! The portions are generous and everything lookedso good that I wanted to order everything in one go. I was super excited because I deffo did not expect to find West Indian foodin Angus. I ordered way too much out of excitement and enjoyed every minute of eating it! This is our new favourite place forhome cooked meals (other than my parents lol). Can't wait to go back! Read more
