Steak sandwich came with two tiny pieces of bread and half a pickled and half a slice of meat with soggy fries.
Our appetizer was good and we had a variety tray come out with a plethora of meat cheese and veggies. Service was pretty good as... well However the steaks were good cuts with absolutely zero flavor. No char marks and with the flavor leads me to believe it wascooked on a cookie sheet in the oven. It was very unfortunate for such a nice restaurant. Read more
Cute place! Waitress was very nice but it seemed like she was the only one, so diners need to be patient. Food was good - the... relish tray was so cute and fun! It has a lot of different little things on it, and we had fun sampling all of them. The onionrings were also really good, as was the meal itself. Ham was very good quality and hubby said the chicken livers were reallygood. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for a special meal. Read more
We took my Mom out for her birthday. Food was great! She and my husband had the whole catfish and I had a chicken fillet. I've... had great steak there before too. Love, love, love the relish tray that comes with the meal! Plenty of extras come with the mealalso. The service was wonderful, really nice waitress. Left feeling pleasantly full. We love this steakhouse in Anita. Just a few miles south of I-80, well worth the stop. This was my third visit on a... cross-country drive. I always have the filet done rare. It's delicious! The relish dish is unique and has something foreveryone. Many other dining options but when in Iowa, I'll have beef or pork. When passing through Iowa on I-80, stop by and tryit for yourself.
