Big Açaí is SO AMAZING! I have always loved açaí bowls, but it is hard to find places that make them correctly. Big Açaí... makes them perfectly! I could eat here three times a day they are so good! I recommend the Original Açaí base (comes withbanana and granola toppers), blueberries, honey, peanut butter, and chia seeds or bee pollen. Absolutely the best I?ve had in aLONG time! Read more
I just ordered an Açaí bowl with strawberries,goji berries, and blueberries and it automatically came with bananas. I asked to... get pea protein added and the other bowl had whey protein. I?ve never in 11 years of having açaí all over the world, I?venever had the protein not blended into the açaí. I was eating straight powder in my bowl and then the açaí was barely aninch in the bowl and then everything else was just toppings. When you first get the bowl it looks like it?s filled to the top..but it?s not filled with açaí just the additional toppings you paid $1 for (per topping). Mind you, the açaí is $9 and then$1 per topping. This place is a joke for the simple fact they don?t serve enough açaí, they are too lazy to not blend theirprotein into the açaí and then charge $1 per topping for them just to fill with toppings only. I?ve been to 35 açaí placesall over the world including Hawaii, Brazil, and California. I?ve added protein every chance I?ve had if other places offeredthat option and I?ve never just had it dumped on top of my açaí. I will never be coming back.. hopefully this place willconsider making a change. If not, now for you macro-conscious folks, it will be a disappointment. Read more
Recently moved to Iowa and Ankeny specifically. I was craving an Açaí bowl and was glad to see that there were a few places in... the greater DSM area. I came in and ordered a bowl but when I was eating it I noticed it had very little of the açaí base andwas full of fruit and granola. This was more of a fruit bowl and not so much an açaí bowl. This was my first time at the Ankeny location and I probably won't come back. They only had one worker, so I waited 30 minutes... for literally the worst smoothie I have had. I heard the workers say something about it as they were pouring it out, butcouldn't quite catch it. It tasted like pure ice with a single strawberry. Read more

We live in Minnesota, but my family is all over the midwest. I'm so glad that I found this place! We love to stop here on long... car trips. This is the perfect place to get something healthy and refreshing. The staff is always super nice and accommodating.I got the coconut, acai, chia seed pudding, granola, honey, strawberries, and banana on my last stop and it was delicious!
