Good food. Great atmosphere. It does take a little longer to get food but it was well worth the wait. Definitely coming back.
Great atmosphere, I enjoyed eating outside on the upper deck (2nd floor). Buffalo Cauliflower was addicting as a starter. Will... feed 3 to 4 people. Beef brisket sandwich was mild but could be better with some sauce. Great place for beer and food. Husbandloved it. Some vegetarian options. Good Pasta and veggie sides. My husband really enjoyed it. I'm not sure what all the Karens and highfalutin egos that complained about this place were expecting, but all their complaining... reviews almost kept us from trying this place. I'm glad we came. Food quality was amazing, prices are decent considering theinflation we have right now, and the drink options were great. Sat on the patio and had a great time. Will definitely be back.If you are actually from Iowa you will like this place. Read more
Amazing, amazing building they have here, with a gorgeous rooftop bar. If only the quality of the structure transferred over to... the food, drinks, and service... I want so badly to like this place, but I can't. Time and time again they prove that they'reawful at just about everything that makes for a good bar. The best case scenario here is that someone actually competent buysthis place out, because as long as it stays under current management, this is clearly the best we'll get. Read more
Absolutely wonderful time. Visited for brunch before heading home to Missouri. They had a one man band playing and he was... absolutely delightful to listen to at brunch during a cloudy rainy Sunday over breakfast. They had a bloody Mary and mimosabar. (can't remember the prices) and our waitress was very attentive to us as her customers. Food was so awesome. And it wasvery hard to choose which breakfast I wanted because everything on the menu sounded sooooo good. The bloody Mary was to diefor. Stop in if your in town. Well worth it. Read more
This was my first time at the Ankeny location. We went on a Saturday night around 6 and did not have to wait. We had the fry... flight. It was good. Staff were friendly but service was a little slow. Read more
The staff is excellent and their food is top notch. We especially loved the hostess who gave us some history about Ankeny and... invited us to check out the upper level patio bar. Will definitely be repeat customers!! Read more
The food was amazing cheese cubes for a starter. I had the grinder flatbread and my wife had the pizza burger. The food was at... our table very fast. The waitress was great brought us extra drinks without even asking. Highly recommend. We will definitely goback. Read more
