Waitress was awesome, food was awful. Wife found hair in her food. I had the wings, not sure chicken was cooked long and the... breading was pretty thick and soggy in parts. I bit into one piece and I'm pretty sure it wasn't even a wing. Just fatty tissuebreaded and fried. Read more
HyVee is a friendly Midwest grocery store chain. They typically have the freshest produce of anu grocery store, and the best... selection. Their focus may not always be on the lowest prices, but they have a better selection and higher quality product thansome cheaper stores. They're not overpriced, just maybe not the lowest. Not a bad place to eat. The food is usually decent and it is usually not crowded. Only 4 stars because a lot of the time the... soda machine is out of things and sometimes the service is really slow (not enough staff). Amelia's the best. Ever. Period. Now that that's out of the way... The food is great. The prices are moderate, but can actually... be quite low if you take advantage of their excellent daily specials. The menu is limited, but what they do, they do well. Theservice model could be a little clearer. They've got a pre-order, cafeteria-style model, but with full restaurant-style servicearound the bar. Where this place truly shines is in the bar service, and the friendliness of the staff. It's a generally warmenvironment for anyone looking to tie one on and chit chat for a bit. Highly recommended!
