Today, Sunday 9 Oct 2022. I asked for a 16 pc bocke, crispy, meal. $53+. They had me wait 40 mins for it. Came back 35 mins... layer to pick it up. It was cold. I am not sure if this place is under new management, but judging by the last few visits, thecustomer service has gone down hill. Based on my last 3 visits to this KFC, I am not sure if I will risk making the trip toAnkeny for KFC in the future. Asking for exact change. Denying all dark, etc Not the KFC I remember. Is any one else beentreated with arrogance or shabi here? It might be just me, but today, after waiting for an order of "16 piece bucket meal" for35 mins, the chicken was COLD! Or so it appeared... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now its Monday 10. Oct 2022. The next day. I am sorry tonotice that what I believed to being "Cold" chicken I was given yesterday was not just cold but stail. They gave me a 16 piecebucket of day old chicken on the meal, for the full prize of a 16 bucket meal with hot, freshly fried chicken. I?ll give this place kudos for being consistent at least. They are consistently the SLOWEST drive thru in the entire city.... Doesn?t matter what time of day you go or which day of the week. Make sure you plan out an extra 20 minutes to a half hour ofsitting in the drive thru before you even make it to the menu board. It doesn?t matter how many cars are in front of you either.The back of the restaurant looks like it exploded, there are portable refrigerators in the parking lot, the parking lot is fullof cracked cement, bumps, and potholes. It is definitely worth the time driving to the KFC on Merle Hay Rd, Clive, or Altoonainstead. Going to this location is a waste of your time. Read more
Way too slow on drive thru. 25 minutes to get to the board with only 3 cars in front of me. Then they make each car wait a... minute before they can order. However. I finally left after wait passed 5 minutes. I only had an hour available to get my food.I didn't want to push it. Read more
Ordered through the KFC site. Spent over $60 for dinner and leftovers for lunch. Arrived at the restaurant to be told that their... coolers broke down and had to toss all of the chicken and therefore had no product to sell. They "couldn't give refunds" so Iwas instructed to request a refund through the site. I haven't heard anything for a week and a half. Needless to say, I'll nevergo here again. Probably just give up on KFC all together. Too many good alternatives nearby. Read more
Went today around 12:30 and grabbed a lunch bucket for kids. You'd think at that time food would be fresh right? Get home... leave it to kids to help themselves whilst I deal with other things ( dog being put to sleep today lots going on, and why kidsout of school) The youngest comes down and says she is still hungry and lunch is icky. She is almost 4. I go upstairs and takea look. The biscuits are hard as rocks. Mac N cheese looks like they scrapped it from the bottom of the pan AND it was onlyhalf full. The extra crispy chicken that I asked for was pretty soggy. Seriously. My two teens ended up tossing away thelittle they had and opened some goldfish crackers. Read more
I have so many complaints I don't even know where to start. The things that gets me is they know they keep getting bad reviews... but the only staff 2 people tops to run the whole place ! Therefore no one waiting will ever be on time for anything you have todo! My other issue is missing food from every other order at least ! WAS TOLD NO THEY WONT FIX IT ! When I called the last 3times they said they would take care of it . They never sent me anything to replace it and refused when I came. So I guess weare to just give them free money. Read more
