This facility is very welcoming and clean, service was fast and attentive. However, I am unable to give more stars as my food... was either too salty or bland. I order a dragon roll and it was fair to say the least, the salmon roll lacked flavor andfreshness, the ramen was way too salty same goes for the udon noodles. The seafood soup was too salty and small portion. Read more

We love Mizu! I keep wanting to branch out, but I come back to the same thing-- hibachi rice, veggies, and filet mignon. It's... always cooked to perfection! Jenny is an amazing waitperson, and the atmosphere is cozy. If you like sushi and sashimi, theyhave some delicious options. Love this place! Read more

Ordered 4 rolls and they were so small and very mediocre. The fish was mostly mush and didn?t taste like anything special. Way... too overpriced for the quality and quantity you get. Only good thing we got was the pork gyoza which is why it gets 2 stars andnot 1. Wouldn?t go back and wouldn?t recommend. Read more

A great Asian fusion place to eat! I wouldn?t have expected for a sushi place to make one of the best pad Thai! I didn?t get a... chance to take a photo of it as it was gone in seconds. The flavors were on point. As for the sushi, it?s alright. But the padThai got me raving this restaurant at 5 stars. Read more

As soon as you walk in you're greeted with warm wood, carved in traditional Japanese style. The semi private room in the back... looks so inviting and a great place for good old "after work drinks" with coworkers. The bang for buck was definitely worth it.I left with another dinner for later. Definitely the place to grab some sushi or ramen in Ankeny. Second time around: I gotthe Sashimi Deluxe and a bottle of sake. The sake recommendation from my server was definitely very good and the fish on the icewas fresh fresh fresh. At first I was worried I wouldn't be able to finish all of my order, but when I saw the portion sizes,my confidence grew and my expectations lessened. This time I did not feel like my money was worth it. If you haven't spent anytime engaging the "Sushi Culture," I would ask for instructions on how to get the most out of the Sashimi Deluxe. This dish isfor experienced raw fish eaters. Because it was a good experience for myself, I won't deduct my original rating, but I hopethis serves as cation to novice contours. Read more
