friends and i went through the drive through and two male teenage workers starting throwing objects at and in our car. one hit... the car itself. they yelled something inappropriate at us and went through the front door to WAVE as we left the store. none ofus knew these kids and they acted like we were their buddies. after all of that, the left out an entire part of our order. Ordered the Mexican Pizza and a taco, and my daughter had the spicy potato soft taco, bean burrito, and chips with cheese. We... got home, took the food out of the bag, and the Mexican Pizza tastes rancid! Everything else is good, hence the three stars. We went to this drive-thru after being turned away at the other Ankeny location, as they decided to close early without posting... any signage. John was working the drive-thru and was kind. Our food matched our order and was wrapped/bagged well. It wasn?tvery warm, which was odd, but otherwise a decent experience. Read more
If I could give 0 stars I would. I paid over 20 dollars for eggs. I asked for a sausage and bacon crunch wrap and burrito and... paid extra for the meat and the crunch wrap only came with bacon which had an embarrassing amount of bacon and the burrito isonly egg cheese and potato. Incredibly disappointing when your looking forward to their breakfast. My girlfriend got the smallerburrito with only potato and she got bacon. Opened everything up and realized there is basically egg and cheese. Worstexperience ever. Waste of 20 bucks. Threw it all away after opening and seeing it?s all completely wrong. Read more
They would take the taco for worst Taco Bell if they ever had any product to make one! As a manager at a restaurant, it is... unacceptable to run out of everything. Which is quite impressive considering it happens often apparently. You should be makingenough profit to order product accordingly. Sincerely, someone who knows how to order. We were hoping to get the resurrected Mexican pizza but what we got was the lost art of customer service, which I?ll take over... Mexican pizza any day. Kevin knew we were disappointed about the Mexican pizza being sold out temporarily and offered to give usanother item on the house. He also gave our little dog a cup of water without our asking and introduced himself through thewindow. So impressed. Thank you Kevin, you are awesome. The kiddos love the Ankeny Taco Bell?and I probably take them more than I should. They have the only tacos my kids will eat!
Sat in the drive thru line that was 15 cars deep to get up to the window and they were closed. Hours online don?t reflect what... they actually are. Don?t advertise that you are open late if you are actually not open late. Read more
