My wife and I recently went here for our anniversary and this was our first time here. We both loved the food and atmosphere. I... would recommend The Dynamic Duo meal with Mashed Potatoes and Mac and Cheese. Also recommend the Pretzel Bites as an appetizer. We also loved the Long Island and Eye Candy drinks. Read more

Loved this place. It's unique in that you can cook your own steak at the table on these 755 degree black stones. You get to have... your steak cooked the way you like in a short amount of time. They also had other food items like sandwiches and lobster. Thedesserts were good and big enough to share. Wait staff was attentive and explained the cooking process. You also don't have tocook your own if you don't want to. Read more

It was delicious. You will have to cook your meat on a black flat heated rock. The salad was good! Mac & cheese was kind of... bland. Both of us ordered the shrimp & steak. Read more

Delicious!!! We were worried about it being overpriced with bad food, as it?s around a lot of tourist areas such as UMich.... Contrary to this thought, the food was amazing and we would definitely come back! Great meat, drinks, and desert. We hadappetizers, main dishes, and desert and the total w/o tip was around $23 a person. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly& if you?re in the area, come by! Read more

Great steak place with tasty seafood options as well. I got the ahi tuna steak, which was super nice. It's sushi grade, so... you're free to cook it or just cram it down like a pelican. I was somewhere in between. Like a very satisfied seagull. Also thepretzel bites are amazing. They're great on their own, but the cheddar and cream cheese dips elevate them to a whole otherlevel. I also tried the brownie thing, which was also tasty. I couldn't finish it though because the meal was so powerful andmighty. Still hoping to try that volcano dessert someday! Read more

My wife and I wanted a nice lunch so we stopped in. After being seated, Gregory helped us order drinks, appetizers, and... explained their signature black rock cooking method. He was extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. We brought our foodpromptly, never let our drinks empty, and was quick to make helpful suggestions. He is a true asset to this fabulousrestaurant. The food was great. The atmosphere was great. The service is what will bring us back. Read more

Firstly I called ahead but they do not have reservations, only priority seating where they take your name and give you a time... but that still doesn't guarantee a seat but I did it anyway and my time was 7:15p so we got there and was seated about 7:45p. Iwas greeted by the hostess upon entering. My waitress was extremely attentive and was always checking in on us. Also the manageron duty stopped by and checked on us as well. We had already looked over the menu so we ordered right away. I ordered theatlantic salmon with asparagus and a rice pilaf as well as the chicken tortilla soup that came with it. We also ordered theBlack Rock Ribs that came with the house salad and mac and cheese as well as the 3 jumbo shrimp add on. They brought out thesoup and salad first and they both were delicious and the perfect serving. After taking our order maybe about 20 minutes and themain course was brought out to us. The presentation as well as the taste was very good and everything was on point???????????????????????? the portions were the perfect size too. The ambience and environment was cool also. They still arefollowing the safe distance protocol and I witnessed them sterilizing everything after a table or spot at the bar was cleared. The only bad thing I would say that isn't really to bad is that the floors were greasy and a few young women at different timesalmost slipped and fell walking through the restaurant. All in all though I love the Black Rock Ann Arbor location. I visitedother Black Rocks in Michigan but Ann Arbor is my new favorite location!!! Read more
