First time we visited Michigan we tried Buddy's in Grand Rapids and were blown away, so of course when visiting Ann Arbor we had... to go again. We ordered a meat lovers and man were we disappointed! It was nothing like the last one we had. Crust was sad andbarely there. Sauce was cheap and flavorless and the meat all seemed old and stale. I'm pretty sure last time we ordered itthere was pepperoni, so I'm not sure if they forgot it or what. Staff seemed bored to be there. Last Buddy's visit for me! Read more
Really great atmosphere and service. The food was decent but nothing out of this world, but none of us had pizza which they are... known for so maybe that’s why! Service was amazing, efficient, and friendly. Would recommend. Read more
The original Detroit Style Pizza at Buddy’s is a must visit when in Ann Arbor! Crispy buttery crust, delicious cheese, tasty... sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. The taste was excellent overall and service was fantastic! While the chain isgreat, I’ll say there are better local Detroit Style Pizza options closer to downtown, but this is a staple and definitelyenjoyed our experience! Read more
Had the 4 square pizza, but had to take it to go. I took a bite while it was fresh and it was great, but by the time I got home... I had to reheat it. Next time I want to make sure to dine in so each bite can be as good as that first one. Read more
While on a weekend getaway to Ann Arbor Michigan with my husband and some friends of ours, we made the choice not to wait and... hour or more just to eat at Texas Roadhouse. We also needed something from Meijer. All 3 places were in the same shopping plaza.We got in our car to go to Meijer first and my husband said what about that place. We all like pizza so we agreed to trysomeplace new. Buddy's Pizza was our choice. It was the best choice we could have made. The portion size is amazing and theflavors made our taste buds dance. If we ever decide to go to Ann Arbor Michigan again for a weekend getaway, this place isalready one our number 1 places to eat. Read more
First time in Ann Arbor visiting my daughter and she was told to take me to Buddy's for Detroit style pizza. It was really, ... really good. Very cheesy, came to the table fresh and hot. The portion size was great. We got the 8v slices and only ate 4between us. But we also got the chicken tenders which were good as well. They came quick & were crispy and hot. Just enoughto share as an appetizer between both of us. They were out of wings, not sure why it was only noon, but glad the tenders weregood. I'd go back if I'm ever back there. You can create your own pizza or choose a signature one. We choose just regularwith pepperoni. Read more
Food was good, salad had a good layer of salami on it. Pizza was decent, wasn't as brown on the edges as I was expecting and... remember it being however, otherwise it was good pizza. Service was good, not the best it took like 10 minutes to get me abeer, but that was most likely not the waitresses fault, but instead was because she was helping someone with the menu, mostlikely had too many customers. I detracted 3 stars in that catagory because of that, again, not the waitresses fault. Read more
