I stopped in here hoping they would have a vegetarian menu as I love Mexican food and had an hour gap in my schedule. I was... delighted to find vegetarian options for all my favorites and they were stuffed with veggies! They were not busy at all, I hadstopped in between lunch and dinner. Mixed bag of good and not so good. The traditional margarita was OK but it's got nothing on El Azteco in Lansing. I had a beef... enchilada and it basically had no flavor. However the side of refried beans were very good with a side if chips. The tamaleswere very tasty but I had a bite of a chicken taco and almost couldn't get it down. The chicken was super dry and chewy. Someone at our table got the veggie Chimichanga and he gave up on it after 3 or 4 bites. When our family goes out for dinnerit's considered a splurge and something special. Dropping over $100 for below average Mexican food as our food splurge was verydisturbing. This place is hopping during summer happy hour! I waited a little extra for my takeout order but I could see why - all full... restaurant and out on the patio. Dinners come with free chips and salsa, super delicious. I recommend the fajita burrito! Steakand vegetables in a big burrito covered in melted cheese. YUM. The food was ok but nothing that wowed me. I ordered Enchiladas Supreme which has 4 enchiladas (chicken, beef, cheese, been) The... been was not good at all, the cheese was ok, didn?t like the flavor of the beef but the chicken was really good. Decided to try Don Juan's for the first time and it was just ok. Not bad and not great. The chips and salsa were good. My tacos... were just good nothing spectacular as far as flavor. However, I did not care for the beans. Other than that if you're cravingsome tacos this place could probably satisfy you. Read more
