A decade+ ago I loved this place as a vegetarian undergrad. Today I found that they are at the University Hospital cafeteria two... days a week. I've been here most days for about a month as my wife went into premature labor and my twin daughters have been inthe NICU. I was overjoyed to see them with a space in the cafeteria, and wish I'd known sooner. Such a delightful respite fromthe Cottage Inn pizza, prepack sushi, and grab and go sandwiches and salads that I've otherwise been eating. Here's hoping thisplace continues to offer great tasting, healthy Indian food to hungry students, residents, and visitors for years to come! Read more
The food was wonderful and so was the staff. All but two of the dishes were vegan and they were amazing. I wish I lived closer... to Ann Arbor, I'd easily become a regular. Will definitely be eating here again before the end of our vacation. Read more

as far as i know the owner used to be a chemist and you can taste it in thier cooking! i love everything from here from the... scrambled tofu eggs to the ladoo desert. i dont know many of the names of dishes but i'm not vegan and its all tasty. Read more
Every single item on the menu is fantastic. The quality of the food by itself would merit Earthen Jar 5 stars, but the genuine... kindness of the staff makes it a one of a kind establishment. Serves very healthy and tasty Indian vegetarian food. This place is a hidden gem. Very friendly staff too.
I?ve been coming here for 18 years. I?m not vegetarian. I simply love the food. My favorite is the dal saag and mango lassi.... Highly recommend both if you come by. Absolutely excellent. More so, it?s run by the same family, so please support your localbusiness! Read more
