Food tasted good. Restaurant clean. Had sweet & sour pork with fried rice. Egg roll very crispy. Didn't get mustard or duck... sauce with the egg roll- maybe one has to request? Online ordering was not flexible in adding items a la carte. For ex, for thelunch combo, wanted egg roll and soda.App only permitted adding one. Can phone in order though which would get around thislimitation. Overall happy with location, convenient parking, tasty food & good service. Read more
Wanted to try out a new spot for lunch. I was able to order ahead online, and pick the time I wanted to arrive. They have an... online tracker where you can see if your food is ready. They even texted me when it was ready for pickup! I was in and out in 30seconds. Everything was packaged nicely in one bag (even the drink was in its own paper bag carefully placed on top of thefood). Everything was hot and delicious. I'll definitely visit again! Read more
Having grown up in family of Chinese restaurants, Happy Wok never disappoints! Service is quick and carryout is packed well, in... that it makes it home without leaking. The food is always delicious. Ordered chicken egg rolls, pork lomein, chicken fried rice, General Tso's chicken, and mongolian beef. All were tasty. My... favorite was General Tso's Chicken followed by the egg rolls. Being picky here and reason I took a star. The beef in mongolianbeef needs to be cut thinner and the pork lomein and chicken fried rice needs more vegetables. Additionally, the lomein wassalty. I recommend this place and will return. Update: Ordered a second time: chicken egg roll, orange chicken, general Tso'schicken, and Pork Pad Thai Rice Noodle. Chicken egg rolls were great. Orange and general chicken, average. (My last order Tso'schicken tasted outstanding) Pork Pad Thai, amazing! I will order this dish again and again. Read more
Ok, so I love finding tasty food that is great value for the money. Happy Wok is an easy winner in that department. The... standouts for me are the fried spring rolls and the fried egg rolls, each going for about $1.50 ! They are huge, taste reallygood, and 3 of them can fill you up. They also have pretty good crab Rangoons. My favorite though is the Tom Yum Soup. I canget this extra spicy and with extra vegetables and it tastes lovely. Check out this hidden Ann Arbor Gem!! I don’t normally leave reviews for restaurants, or for anything at that. However the food received for my takeout order was... absolutely terrible. Sushi from this place should never be considered, and should be taken off the menu. I ordered shrimptempura roll and the shrimp was sitting on top of the rolls. On top. That’s not appropriate. The spicy shrimp was rice andshrimp. The rice proportion in these rolls is unacceptable. It’s a shame this is called sushi. The crab rangoon had minimalfilling. The chicken with vegetables rice dish lacked any sort of spice or flavoring and loaded with oil. Honestly one of theworst takeout experiences ever- all went to trash. Read more
