Not the typical Mexican restaurant, the menu is kind of small, definitely has some unique items on it, but the food was... delicious, the fresh tuna tostada appetizer was amazing, also ordered carnitas tacos and fried chicken tacos, both wereexcellent, the service was great, it was nice that all the staff would clear plates or refill drinks when needed, you didn'thave to wait for your waiter only, great team work and makes the overall experience even better, kind of pricey compared toother Mexican restaurants, but the menu is elevated for sure, we'll be back here to eat again! The happy hour margaritas were pretty tasty and a good price, but my god the nachos were horrible. There was enough of this... gummy cheese for three additional nacho plates. I’ve only had bad experiences w MI Mexican food so maybe I should just acceptit. Read more

Disappointing. The portion sizes were small compared to the price that we paid for them. Their chips and salsa trio was great,... but everything else not so much. Ordered their Potato Quesadilla and it was super salty. The Mango Habanero Margarita was sour. Our server was pleasant and so was the atmosphere of the restaurant. Read more

I always feel gouged when we eat here or their sister restaurant next door. This time it was $16 for four small iced teas. We... ordered two at $4 each, which is too much. But that would have been okay except they charged us again when we ordered refills. So $16 for iced tea with dinner. The chips and small salsa/guacamole starter for $14 is an eye roller as well. The food is fine. But I always leave feeling overcharged and underfed. Won't be returning, I don't like the feeling of being nicked. Read more

The BEST restaurant in Ann Arbor that I've been to. I've lived here for 4 years and can't believe I just went for the first time... today. The food, cocktails, and appetizers were actually perfectly prepared and the best tasting food I've had in Ann Arbor(I've tried nearly every single restaurant). The price is leaning on the expensive side but totally worth it for a nice nightout. Helena Li was a fantastic waitress and provided amazing service for us. Highly, highly recommended. Read more

Every time I’ve come here the food has been phenomenal. I’ve tried most of the tacos at this point and it’s hard to pick a... favorite, but the al pastor is a must try! If you come for lunch it’s usually not too crowded, but dinners can be a littlerowdy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Ann Arbor. Read more

With the pandemic still raging in Michigan and several young kids at home, we do a lot of takeout, I mean A LOT. Isalita,... without a doubt is my absolute favorite takeout in all of Ann Arbor. I almost always get the chicken enchiladas (pictured). Theflavor is spectacular, unlike any I’ve ever had. We also frequent the nachos (also pictured) and the guacamole is a must-getevery time. Our kids enjoy the chicken tacos (sauce on the side). Once covid numbers die down in Michigan (and/or warm weather)I can’t wait to eat there in person. Thanks to the staff and chefs for always making our dinner enjoyable. Read more
