As a sushi enthusiast I felt like I had it figured out but today was my first visit to this establishment and it shot to the top... of my charts. I'm a big sushi lover, and I recently tried Kanbu sushi for the first time. I was so impressed with their delicious and quality... rolls! I have celiac disease and was so excited to find they had a gluten free menu, and the waitress assured me everythingwould be prepared safely for me. There were also vegetarian options as well. I tried the ginger tea, which was some of the besttea I've ever had and will definitely be ordering that again! Fabulous, authentic sushi in Ann Arbor. A small, cozy, cute place, great for a first date. The sushi was very fresh with the... rice at perfect temperature and artfully done.The Orange Ceviche appetizer is enough for two and it's wonderful. We also shareda pot of lovely Citron Tea. Easily the best sushi restaurant I?ve been to yet. Friendly staff, clean dining area and bathroom, reasonable prices and wait... time, and just great sushi! The menu is extremely extensive, it?s almost overwhelming (in a good way) due to all of theoptions!! Everything around us was cozy and the food others ordered looked great, as well.
