Excellent service, cuisine was perfect! We celebrated my mom's 79th birthday here at Knight's Steakhouse, while it is a fave of... hers, we had never been. We are so glad that we chose Knight's! From our cocktails before dinner to our dessert, I am ashamedto not have taken more pictures since I have been trying to stay in the moment. Calamari and shrimp appetizer is a mustget. The oysters were some of the best we have ever had. The bourbon flank steak was awesome The Prime rib was excellent, alongwith the filet! The original American experience. Simple, dedicated, family owned business. Generation after generation this place evolves... slowly keeping a taste of the old good days without being out of touch. The service is extremely kind and personal yet it hashigh standard. Is the place expensive? It is meant to be a high end restaurant - and it is. The price is in accordance to theexperience, location and quality of the food and service. The food is fantastic everything is a classic yet it is original tothe restaurant. Big shout-out for the appetizer the delicately perfectly Shrimp and fried calamari or the surprising CajunChicken which is probably not the most accurate you'd get in New Orleans but it is original and well executed. The ribs arefell off the bones and covered in thick barbecue sauce as they should. We stopped in right after the game, hoping to find an available table for six. Three friendly hostesses greeted us and sat us... immediately on the patio, per our request. Nate was our server who, despite being extremely busy due to crowd, was attentive,friendly, and remembered everything we ordered! The food was served quicker than we anticipated and was hot and delicious! MyCobb salad was so good I didn’t want it to end. Spectacular customer service. The restaurant is cozy, clean, and beautiful. We celebrated our wedding weekend and had a great... experience. I ordered Chicken Scallopini from the Favorites section of the menu. My husband ordered Cajun Chicken Alfredo. Thechicken cutlets were cooked to perfection and capers really elevated the flavor. The bar staff was amazing especially Tony F! Made sure we were more than happy in every way. We ate at the bar because the wait... was 45min to an hour for a table. We called ahead of time to make a reservation and they said they didn't take reservations tillafter 830pm, which I thought was weird. But anyhow, like I said the bar keeps were awesome and welcoming for sure. The food wastop notch all around, the bone in rib eye was just as I asked for and the scalloped potatoes were a nice change from the sameold. The dinner rolls are very tasty and made fresh. The veggies were cooked perfectly. The house made salad dressing was supertasty and salad was fresh! My girlfriend got the chicken fried steak it was absolutely delicious as well. I had to try some. Thebreading was very tasty and the gravy was fantastic. A great ambiance about the place and right in the midst of the action ofthe college town. TheI will be sure to return again! We were visiting Ann Arbor and end up visiting Knights twice during our 3 days in town. Our hotel bartender recommended it over... Chop House and Webbers. We went Sunday night for dinner and it was very busy. We sat at the bar for what was a 5 minute wait fora table. The steaks and staff were great. We decided to go to another establishment Tuesday night for my birthday. That was amistake and ended back at Knights to finish off the evening. Andrew our bartender was fantastic and very welcoming. The MakersMark Knights Reserve is a must try. We will be back during our next trip to Ann Arbor. I already have the Butcher Burger pickedout. Read more
Everything was great here from salad to drink to steak. I would go here again. My wife likes her steak well done and she said... they cooked it the way she likes without drying it out. Mine was a perfect medium rare. Shrimp cocktail had lot of horseradishthe way I like it. French onion soup was perfect. Great place for a nice dinner! Read more
Cozy, classic restaurant. First time here, had a great experience celebrating my 1st anniversary! They gave my wife and i a... really great cheesecake. Will come back for it, flavors were well balanced. Steak was overseasoned at some spots though. Saladand bread were decent. Read more
