Food 4/5 stars each item just a bit off Tried the new beef and lamb Bolga bowl... thinly sliced meat, comes with some rice,... plus spring salad mix topped with a few grape tomatoes and sprinkled feta cheese. Taste-wise ok but it was a bit dry. Itcould've used a touch of sauce or dressing of some kind...not a lot or at least on the side. Chopped beef and cheddar olga ...never had this before. Beef was tender and overall taste was good. However, no garlic that I could taste in the sauce. Fullyslathered that the olga was bread was soaked through. Prepare to eat with a fork! Also, where's the cheddar?!? ???? Fries werelightly seasoned...and the broccoli soup with snackers was so good that I forgot to take a pic and just wolfed itdown. All I can say is, WOW. As someone who works in this industry I tend to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt but this was... one of the worst dining experiences I?ve ever had. Not only were we told by the rude hostess we could not sit in a booth, wethen watched two tables walk in not 3 minutes after us and be seated in booths. Then said tables both had orders taken beforeanyone even came to greet us. We were never even spoken to by a server, it was actually appalling. You?d have though we wereinvisible by how many employees walked by us and said nothing. I love Olga?s but this was absolutely outrageous. Read more
I've been going to this Olga's for quite awhile. All the Olga's sandwiches on the menu are delicious. But what I really get... excited about is the Birmingham brownie. When you are ready to order it, you need to make sure that you tell your server how youwant it made. The standard brownie is excellent, but you can alter it so it's your own creation. I always get it with hot fudge,caramel and roasted pecans. Well maybe I'll see you the next time I'm enjoying my brownie, you won't be disappointed. Read more
Had Megan as a server she was super fast and friendly! She made sure to make me feel welcomed and appreciated and not just... another table. Very knowledgeable about the menu and helped to explain to the cook (who was super fast) my modifications. Allin all I?ll be asking for her again and had a great experience. Read more
My waitress needed help! Overall though she did a great job. Food was decent, tables a bit dirty but they seemed understaffed... so I'm not making a big deal about that. Doesn't taste like what I remember and honestly I probably won't go back so I'm goingto say it was okay. Read more
I arrived during peak lunch rush and I think they were a bit understaffed for the rush. Service was friendly and efficient.... Place was clean, the food was great. I ordered an original Olga, and Olga salad, a tomato and cucumber salad, and a freshsqueezed lemonade. Yes it's too much food for me, but I wanted to try the cucumber and tomato salad it was good. My husband had to wait an extra 30 minutes until the order was ready. Why have an estimated time that you fulfill. We got the... family bundle and the salad portion is so small. It is one persons portion, not four. Also there?s a lot of rotten salad piecesthat I took out. I haven?t been to Olga?s in a while and I?m the past, have always been content with their service. Olga?s use to be my favorite place. Sadly, it has been getting worse every time I go or order. The quality of the snackers have... been steadily decreasing while the price is increasing. I ordered two snacker baskets today and neither were appetizing at all.Both were barely cooked and had very little seasoning. Disappointing. Read more
