UPDATE: the store reached back out to me and made things right. They reimbursed my order and offered apologies for my experience... today and the misunderstanding. Now THAT is the Pita King i know. Thank you Pita King! My coworker and I placed online ordersfor Pita King. I called them after I realized I somehow placed an order for 2 chicken Shawarmas, and asked if they could cancelthe second order. They said sure that?s no problem, and I then told them as an aside, that my co worker was picking up the foodfor me. I get a call from them after her pickup that they accidentally gave her a wrong order and need us to come back. No offerfor a discount or free sandwich for their blunder, but okay. At this point we won?t be able to have our work meeting at theoffice because of these delays. When she finally got that sorted and got back to the office, she gave me two chicken shawarmas.I called the Restaurant and asked, they claimed they thought I was telling them I was gifting the second sandwich to my coworker. What the heck, I understand work can be busy but that is just incompetent. Charged for both, for what?s now a coldmeal.now sure I understand it was my fault for placing the double order, but then don?t tell me it?s taken care of when I callabout it. Read more
These positive reviews are either a joke or fake reviews. This is the worst chicken shawarma. This shouldn?t even be allowed to... be called chicken shawarma. But hey i used to live in dearborn so i dont know what i was expecting. Came because of the reviewsafter shopping at trader joes, but never again. Also, the WORST customer service ever. Very disappointed?.did pickup waited outside til my order was ready. Got there at 2:20 pickup was suppose to be ready at 2:33.... Didn?t get it until 2:50. People who ordered after us got they?re order before. I asked for no tomato?s and got tomato?s. Neverever requested any onions on something that wasn?t suppose to come with onions and got onions. I came to this city to get a degree, but commuted for most of it because I couldn?t afford the rent. I finally was able to move... to Ann Arbor a few months ago and realized most of the food (not all) in this city is very expensive for the lack of flavor. Igot the degree but am still going to be here for at least a few more years if not longer and I don?t always have the ability tocook. Given the situation, I was a little sad about it but figured I could just eat bland food once in a while when I had to gettakeout. But THEN! I went into Pita King. I have to tell you, their food was my savior. Literally finally something wortheating out for, everything is great. The Kareemo is my favorite, it?s worth the expense, it is literally the only ?sandwich? inthe area I will pay money for. And everybody is so chill! Once I went in and there was a lil guy, clearly somebody?s kid ringingus up and that brought me BACK. Kids in my family all the time used to help out at the restaurant or just come to work withtheir parents. It let me know this is the kind of business I wanna support.
