Oh my God!!!! We were instructed by my parents to eat at this establishment. Upon arriving at the Bar, we were greeted by the... most amazing, friendly, humble, Whitty, and charming bartender to everyone, although she is not allowed to answer the phonebecause of “the Incident” anyway back to the story. I came here with my wife and Jen and Lauren were the bomb. Jen literallystopped everything she was doing and helped me pick out the correct pizza for my palet. I will forever remember you ladies!!!! I plan my son’s birthday party every year at The Original Cottage Inn. This year, the service was even more impressive. Walter... took the time to personalize my needs and adapt the service to run smoothly. Even though I added 10 extra people, Walter wasable to make it work. The venue is beautiful. The tables were set up with appetizers and there was a buffet for the food.Everything was delicious. Isabel, the server, made sure we had everything we needed and was a very gracious host. We had agreat time and can’t wait to go back! Read more

Good food. I can't judge the service based on our experience. We were there for a wedding and didn't get a good feel for service... since they were there literally every minute or two asking about drinks, food quality or any other requests. Good accommodationsfor the wedding dinner(revolved around what the bride and groom requested and considered for their guests) Read more

After failed franchise in NC I wanted get back to my roots. The delicious post game pizza of my youth at the original Cottage... Inn Pizza! The beer selection was pretty good. We ordered breadsticks, and got cheese bread. Had to order a tea three times. No worries right? The Pizza would win. It didn’t. It tastes like a cheapened down inflation version of its former self. Slightly different than the chain Pizza, but unrecognizable from the Mount Rushmore I had it place on. Maybe I should haveknown no wait was a bad start Read more

With a large group occupying the upper floor, we were treated to the Original Cottage Inn's hospitality and the Michigan... definition of pizza. Being an individual whose tastes for pie are NYC bound, I found the pizza very tasty. The sauce andtoppings were very good. But the thick crust limited me to two 3" x 5" slices. Bread fills you up, a reason the thin crust of aNew York pie allows you to eat more. But I digress. The Original Cottage Inn's selections were enjoyed by all in attendance andwe came from across the country. A selection of bite size desserts (cheese cake, petit fours, and macarons) ended a dinner ofsalad, various toppings pizzas, and bread. The wait staff knew how to best service the group. Thank you to them for providing agreat place for our gathering. Read more

Had not been here in a long time... glad that we did! Family enjoyed their dinner and portions were generous. Decor is casual,... nothing too fancy. Appetizers to start... Calamari was nice and crisp, yet tender on the inside. Can't go wrong with cheesybread... be careful not to get too full on it. Cranberry pecan salad was perfectly balanced on ingredients and flavorful. Greatas a side or to have on its own. Entrees... Chicken parmesan was the kids' fave of the night. The ravioli florentine wasflavorful and sauce super rich. As for the chicken marsala, chicken was tender served with dark brown gravy, mashed potatoes andlarge cuts of broccoli florets; taste-wise, the gravy was just okay. Feel like that either makes or breaks the rest of the dish. However, the quantity was more than enough to make up for it. We would definitely go back again. Read more

This charming Italian restaurant in Ann Arbor offers fresh food. We started with sangria (grapefruit) very refreshing. We tried... the sampler appetizer with fried provolone, calamari, and bruschetta and it was very good. Our entrees consisted of two pizzasand chicken Marsala. The food was great for the most part the pizza crust did need a little more cooking but overall theexperience and ingredients were very good. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We were a bit disappointed that this lovelylittle piece of Italy did not offer tiramisu. Read more
