Good but not great for korean food options.
I've been buying sushi here for years, while the sushi is good and I've never gotten sick, the rice does tend to be a bit sweet... and fruity almost. The udon broth is pretty good and they have good lunch specials. They have a solid selection of specialrolls as well. Read more
Been to the two top rated sushi joints in Ann Rbor and this place is number one. A little hard to find but worth the effort.... Comfortable but the money's in the food and service, not the decor. They have some delightfully innovative tongue in cheekdishes like Korean military stew, which features Spam as an ingredient (try it you'll like it) which puts it a cut above therest. Read more

Love Umi! This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in town, I come here very often. The miso soup and ginger salad are my... favorite in the area. Our top picks for sushi are the Phoenix, Salmon Avalanche, and Crazy Heart rolls. We also love the ChickenKatsu and the Beef Teriyaki entrees! The staff are very friendly and always make us feel welcome, I've never had a badexperience here. Read more
We came here last week and had a great experience! I was a little worried about publicly dining, but it was clean and put my... mind to ease. We did not sit close to anyone and they blocked off tables to ensure there was a distance between guests. Thesushi was decent and was priced equivalently. Some rolls were fine and others were great! The sashimi was basic and the makirolls were smaller than usual, but they're $4 so again, priced accordingly! Our server was sweet and helpful. Their drinks weregood and presentation was pretty! I've been to this place multiple times now. Bibimbap is relatively hard to mess up so if in doubt, get that. Miso soup and... ginger salad are fairly standard. The sushi was pretty decent; nothing horrible really stood out to me. Both times I've gone,there was not a lot of people so staff was friendly and quick. Not having to find parking is an added plus too. Read more
