During the Covid pandemic lockdowns they switched to carryout only. As of July 2022 they are still not offering dine-in service.... The food is as good as it's ever been but the menu has been pared back a little. The food is unique for the area. It'sdumplings and other western Chinese dishes, plus a handful of American Chinese restaurant classics. The quality of the food isconsistently good. It is sometimes mild and bland compared to restaurants that make everything highly flavored, but it seems tobe entirely from scratch, so it's probably just not enhanced with typical restaurant flavor boosters such as flavor powders andsauce bases. Sometimes their dishes just need a little more salt to satisfy me. Luckily that's very easy to remedy. I alwaysconsider going here to be a treat. +RUDE SERVICE +UNDERCOOKED DUMPLINGS +FOOD POISONING This place used to be good. Now dumplings are barely cooked. The service... also bad. We had two orders of dumplings so there was a tiny cup of each sauce for the two orders. When we go to pick it up, sheremoves two of the sauces (after looking at our check where we didn't leave a tip because it was takeout!). We literally saw heropen the tied bag, take two of them out, and retie it in front of us. :/ FYI, tipping is not expected if you aren't actuallygiving service. I was a little nervous based on some of the reviews, but my order was correct, the service was fine, and the food was okay. The... rice was a bit overcooked/soft. The beef with broccoli tasted a little bland but everything was cooked properly, the carrots &broccoli were appropriately crunchy. The entree came with a ton of rice and the steamed pork buns were cooked through and tastedfine. Read more
Went there today. They got an order wrong with an allergen, but turned around and fixed it ASAP when they realized their mistake... and even brought it out to the car. Very nice people. The pork buns were great, very soft and warm. The dumplings wereperfect. I will definitely come back! Read more
The staff was nice, but the service was pretty slack. Our appetizers were cold before we received plates, forks, napkins, and... chopsticks. We received the wrong drinks, and some of the dumplings looked very unappealing. I might go back and try somethingelse sometime, but I wouldn't drive out of the way for it. First time I have come here and it was the worst experience I?ve ever had from going to a restaurant. The food it had NO salt,... NO flavor, and the dumplings were overall not good.The water smelled and tasted like bleach, it burned my throat when I took ASIP. Me and my friends were being stared at while eating we were very uncomfortable. She also messed up our orders when therewas only ONE other table dining. Mid eating that same order she messed up she snatched her plate WHILE eating and said it wasthe wrong one. At that point you should?ve just let her have it and change the order. My other friend liked the noodles shemessed up and wanted to change her order to that. When she gave us those noodles we saw that it was THE SAME plate that we hadpreviously were eating from. Since the food had no flavor we asked for salt and the salt was thick it came out as chunks. Thesilverware was also dirty. After we finished and payed we were going to tip in cash but before we could she snatched the receiptsaid to us ?no receipt?? and as she was going to get her wallet she said to us ?this place DONT EVER COME back.?
