An iconic brand in Ann Arbor. My wife sampled a few items for our trip back to PA and I just had the cupcakes a moment ago. Oh... my, I can tell you that the cupcakes I just had are the best I?ve had since came to US 11 years ago. We?ve had countlesscupcakes from indie shops, Whole Foods, Wegman?s, you name it. No other cupcakes ever came close to how wonderful and balancedthe cupcakes from Zingerman?s tasted. They just felt right and not artificial at all. Nice lil bakery store. Fits 10 people, can walk in choose a type of many kinds bread to take home. A variety of cakes, pies,... and pastries to take home. And some light foods. There are some benches outside to sit down and chill if you want something fornow. There other services are next door nearby for classes & the cust cake stuff. Read more
Always yum! I went there today for sourdough bread and pimento cheese. Accidentally bought the wrong cheese while not paying... attention and found another cheese called Liptauer that is now also a favorite ???? (capers? genius!). Anywho. Great service.Nice seating picnic tables outside? and the owner, Ari was walking around?. I think it?s nice when people are hands on withtheir businesses but in a non-intimidating way. The sourdough was on sale. Woot! A very nice snack while waiting for Costco toeff up my new tire lol. Read more

Sure you can read all the great reviews about this place and that's all fine, but I'm very MAD at the chocolate donut we got... here because that may be the most incredible, unique, masterfully textured, balanced donut I've had in my life. The baked goods are very expensive, but incredibly delicious. Located in a nondescript industrial office park, Zingerman?s is... chocolate heaven for chocoholics. The hot cocoa cake tastes as mouthwatering as the name implies and the babka bread (with darkchocolate chunks, golden raisins, and cinnamon) provides such a unique treat that has my family and I clamoring for more. TheZingerman?s Coffee Company is just a short walk from the bakehouse, and serves high-quality cups of hot chocolate and coffee towash down the baked goods. Read more

When I stopped by a couple of weeks ago, I got my annual brownies (trythem all, they're all delicious!), and asked if there was anything else I should try since I visited so infrequently. Thegentleman cut a slice of the blueberry coffee cake for me to try, which was so very nice of him to do. And it was delicious! Thecake was very moist, the flavor was spot on - not too sweet, blueberries seemed to be perfectly ripe (without that tang ofunderripe berries). I loved it and will definitely get an entire one next time I'm in the area! It's probably a good thing thatI live so far from here. Otherwise, my wallet would be serious danger! :) Read more
