This place is crazy & I'm glad we didn't have the kids with us. Planning to order a sandwich? The wait was 50-60 minutes. It was... a good sandwich but I'm thankful I wasn't there for a quick lunch. Keep in mind a sandwich is almost $30. Great meat, cheese &bread selection. They have lots of other stuff but that was our focus for our first visit. We plan to return the next chance weget. Mouthwatering delicious! Large sandwiches that come with a pickle. I got the Reuben and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend... the garlic potato salad. The store itself is large and sells spices, jams, etc. I went over to their cafe next door and got somechocolate and coffee beans as souvenirs for family as I was visiting from out of town. Beautiful location with lots of seating! Read more

Really an epicurean phenomenon! I have been coming here for 27 years. I have watched the changes. The restaurant truly finds new... ways To improve and make you say phenomenal! Unbelievable! And ask how do they do it? Go there when you get a chance! There isno way to be disappointed! This is a tourist attraction and itself! Read more

An Ann arbor institution.we went on a holiday weekend and you have to manage expectations as it was a 45 minute wait for take... out, but so worth it. Ate so much we could barely walk out of there. Nice outdoor eating area. Very well organized (order onkiosks, pick up area when you get the text). Cool stores around there to pass the time. The apple sauce for the lattke is worththe trip in itself (as is the lattke). Splurge a bit and enjoy. Read more

What an absolutely amazing experience! This is by far the most beautiful and well ran deli I have ever been to. They have meat... and cheese and a full sandwich deli with soups, snacks and drinks. They have a good selection of house made bread and candies aswell as a very good selection of balsamic vinegar. They have dining upstairs and even a roof patio. If you're in the area youneed to stop. Legendary place! There's no reason to go in the hut outside. Come in the main building and go up the ramp and you can order at... the kiosks inside. Had the big Ruben, excellent. Bread is amazing. Perfectly prepared. Not cheap at $20 but well worth it! Feltlike we were back in a Chicago deli. Sat down in the coffee house. Nice quiet aroma filled room. Read more

Friend wanted an authentic Ruben sandwich and ask if I would take him there if he drove into Ann Arbor...so I did. Ordered... dinner, mine below...bacon lettuce and tomato with some chips. I ate the whole thing! We also shopped the store as we waitedfor our sandwiches...bought some bread and my friend bought multiple loaves of bread. Great door, great service and tons ofoptions! Finally got an opportunity to visit the famous Zingerman's and really enjoyed it. The experience of visiting is a bit... overwhelming the first time, as it is so busy the order process is unusual. Rather than going to a cashier and ordering, youorder via kiosk and pick up at a designated location. This is fine, just something to note if you're making your firstvisit. The brisket sandwich was good, not a generous portion for the price but tasty. Same goes for the garlic potatosalad. They also have a large seating area upstairs if you plan to eat your meal there rather than takeout. All in all a goodexperience, we will definitely return the next chance we get! Read more
