Staff very friendly. I ordered chicken and waffle... I got some waffle with chicken nuggets... what!? My husband's meal seemed a... bit better but I got the sense that items were not freshly prepared. This is close to my house and was excited to try it. The service is extremely hit or miss, there is a male server who was very... nice and gave a solid experience but the food wasn't so great. A second time a female server who was incredibly awkward anddespite asking for some time to decide our order, she hovered at the table asking if we were ready 5 times in a matter of about3 minutes. The food is pretty decent; however, there are more consistent diners in the area that also provide a betterexperience. - food was really good, the gyro was probably one of the best I've had around the area. All fresh ingredients with lots of... flavor. The fries were extremely good as well, super crunchy but not all greasy. Will say the mash potatoes were garlicky whichwere still good and the Mac & cheese was a bit weird. - places was clean and organized. - staff were really friendly andservice was quick. - prices pretty normal for the area. Some items can run a bit high. - plenty of parking in the area. -also was really happy they had a wall outlet for my laptop since I had to work while eating. - nice 50s themed dinner with anice atmosphere, I'd recommend this place. - overall a really good first experience at this location. The good. Atmosphere is nice, wait staff could not be more friendly, attentive and helpful. Seems to be a place the locals... come to sit, talk and enjoy a conversation with friends. The bad. The food was in a word, terrible. Juke Box needs to fund anew short order chef that can cook and they'll have a great place. Until then. Stick with the water and watered down coffee. Read more
Not impressed. I ordered from doordash and got the ?fried?chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese. The chicken was 2 soggy chicken... tenders that tastes exactly like school lunch or worse. The Mac and cheese smelled soooo bad and was tasteless. Read more
Normally have a great time and order the egg n burger but yesterday I ordered the 12 chicken wing platter and when it arrived... there was noticeably not 12. Told the waitress lady that and she said it had changed to 8. So then we counted the wings andthere were only 6. After finding this out, 2 more were ordered to make the order 8. But cmon, had I not said anything, 100%would not have been fixed and would?ve still paid the full price. The wings themselves also were not even warm. They were dryand and flavorless. Felt like they were just reheated and had Buffalo sauce dumped on them. Half of fries were also soaked inthe Buffalo sauce and had become soggy. Including a picture. Read more
Great traditional diner! I got the bbq chicken melt on rye. My friend got the grilled cheese which looked fairly small.
