Old school diner. Small booths, hot coffee and large portions. All of your favorites are here. With unique names of course.... Service was quick and friendly. There are rooms to rent above, might be a good idea to book one for a nap after your meal. Youwill not be disappointed. Read more

This place was BUSY on the Saturday afternoon that I visited. It has the feel of a diner that's packed into a small space and... typical of the best diners is the food. I got the (gigantic) crab cake sandwich and it was massively delicious. That sandwichmade up for all the crabs that I missed eating in 2020 and 2021. Don't bother with the cocktail sauce--you won't even need itbecause the crab cake is so good. Read more

This place is packed! People loves here. My husband and I visited Annapolis and we found some recommendations to try this place.... The serving is more than good enough for your stomach to fill-up. I ordered the crab and cheese omelette and he got the chickenand waffle, both are so filling! Recommended place to visit when you stop by Annapolis City. Read more

Great local deli in downtown Annapolis. I ordered the Reuben with Swiss and sauerkraut and it was probably one of the best I?ve... ever had and a good deal. The rye was well toasted and the cheese was melty. My mom got the legendary crab cakes, which I alsoenjoyed even though I?m not a big seafood eater. The crab cakes were huge and had a generous amount of crab. Service wasfriendly and quick. Highly recommend stopping here for a day trip! Read more

Definitely a popular, busy place. Wait staff was excellent. The chef salad was edible, but nothing to write about (yet here I... am, writing about it) The sandwiches were all named after judges/govt officials. I seriously considered the Clarance Thomas (Ithink) - a grilled cheese with bacon, lettuce, and tomato on rye. I saw other people eating various sandwiches, and the didlook pretty good - if I ever go back (I'm not in Annapolis real often), I'll try a sandwich. They also have a case full ofgood-looking donuts, cakes, etc. I didn't try one, so I can't comment - other than the ape fritter was as big as my head andlooked pretty good. Read more

I went there three times now: each once for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I can?t express enough how appetising the food is and... affordable the pricing compared to other restaurants around the dock. They come in big dishes so get prepared. The entrance issmall but has roomful dining areas in two floors. I recommend go lunch or dinner, can?t tell which dish is best because everyfood I ordered was wonderful. The menu are either named after people or locations which I find it interesting. Try the iconiccrab cake and milkshake! They give you more milkshake than you order, for me, they gave me a full glass of milkshake and anothermilkshake cup telling me there wasn?t enough space to fill in one cup! Breakfast (pictured) was okay but a little dry, $13.99.Just buy a proper meal with that money. Waiter service depends on the person but generally friendly and checks on you everymoment which is super sweet. Read more

The waitress was great. Very attentive. The food was good but not great. We got a variety of plates. The best one was the... appetizer called Annapolis fries with crab dip and cheese on them. The burger is not served with fries as most joints provide. You have to order them as extra. The steak and cheese sub needed something to add to its taste so I got some lettuce and tomatofrom our quesadilla and added to the sub. There was no mayo or mustard on the table. Only ketchup. I will try other joints whenback in Annapolis. There is plenty to choose from fortunately. Read more

Walk into Chick and Ruth's Delly off of Annapolis' Main Street and go back to 1965, when the diner started. Wall decorations,... high ceilings, round bar stool seating and booths put you on a movie set from the 1960s. It's an experience worth seeing. Aftervisiting for a takeout dinner on a holiday Monday evening, here's our experience: 1) Food: The menu is massive and includesbreakfast, lunch and dinner. They are known for their sandwiches and they highlight the popular ones. My wife and I ordered theLarry Hogan, essentially a Philly cheese steak. It was packed with cheese, steak and onions, but it lacked flavor. We ended upputting the side pickles on the sandwich to make it more flavorful. Our four-year-old daughter ordered the pizza bagel on aplain bagel and loved it. Again, it lacked flavor, but for a kid, it was great! One dish that did stick out was the sidecoleslaw. Now that was tasty! 2) Experience: With a classic diner feel, it's worth dining in for the experience. During thepandemic, they also have takeout options. 3) Service: The staff were very friendly, including the server who helped me on herfirst day. She needed help from her colleagues, but was friendly and efficient. Read more
