This restaurant for sure deserves 5 stars! I personally think this is the best dining venue in Annapolis! The food is excellent... (we usually order appetizer, entree, desert, and drinks). The staff is amazing--probably the best manager we have ever met, excellent serving staff, and friendly chef who continually somehow perfects an already amazing menu. To top it off, the decor isstylish and esthetically pleasing--adding to the experience. I would recommend this for date night or treating visiting friendsand family! Read more

We had a lovely dinner on the open air patio. Our server, Mayce, was excellent - attentive, helpful, full of great descriptions... and recommendations. Enjoyed the seasonal cocktail menu. Dinner was great, as was the atmosphere. Read more

Great selection of wines, good service, and an altogether beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately the food was just not very good. I... had the octopus appetizer followed by the shrimp merguez. Both were very overcooked, overpriced for what you got, and marinatedin what I’m assuming was a pound of salt. The shrimp dish was so salty that I couldn’t even finish it. Read more

Flamant is fantastic. I love the playfulness of the menu and the high-quality of the food. Even though it was our first visit,... the staff talked to us like we were old friends. It's nice that some menu items give a choice for a half portion so you can trymore than one thing. Also the bartender made a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail for my husband on the fly, by just asking him afew questions about what he likes and doesn't like in a drink. They really have transformed the space into something special.Flamant is an example of the future of dining in Annapolis. I can't wait to go back again. Read more

We've been going to Flamant since they opened and each year they seem to get even better. My wife and I loved the outdoor... seating and had a wonderful meal with friends. There were a few slip ups with our server (no spoons for the soup ex), butnothing serious. My only comment on it was that the food felt worthy of a Michelin star someday but our service did not. Weparticularly enjoyed the gazpacho soup which was great on a very hot day. Read more

There was nothing exciting or interesting about this place, especially the location/view. The service was the slowest we have... ever experienced. And not due to them being busy - our waitress barely came by and we had to keep asking for her so we couldorder our drinks and then food. The food and drinks were good but way overpriced. I would have given 3 stars but our diningexperience ended with a check that included 20% gratuity because we had 6 people. 20% is the high end of tipping and needs tobe earned. 99% of the time we tip 20%, and reserve 18/15 and sometimes 10% for poor service only. In this case we felt 15% wasmore appropriate because our waitress showed very little interest in serving us. Being forced to pay the top tipping rateknocked 1 more star off, and we will not be back. Four course setting, which we chose. Very creative and absolutely the best tasting and assorted variety selection. Snacks: Blue... Crab Rolls, Salmon Swirls and Lamb Meatballs Apertizer: Crayfish Dumplings, Sirloin Tartee with gumdrop Blue Cheese andhomemade French fries Main Course: Tile Fish Filet, Lamb and Scallops on Sautéed Green Desert: The pear desert was delicious, the Miso Pot De Creme coconut Carmel melt in your mouth and Chocolate Crunchy Bar that had a chocolate mousse on top ofmarshmallows on top of chocolate cake with sprinkles of peppermint that the flavor pleasantly lingers well after the lastbite. All the above was shared at our table with complete joy and can't wait for next dining experience with such great foodand excellent service. Read more

Except food, service and cocktails - all really balanced. Desserts are not too sweet. The wine pairings with the tasting menu... have some optionality which is a nice touch! Read more
