Took me 2 hours to get a pizza the website said would take 45-55 minutes. Website said "delivered" an hour before it arrived. Just shameful business. Lied about timing and delivery, 2x even after a complete reorder as they messed up the first. Just... terrible excuse for a business. Their pizza model is dead with Uber and door dash and the pizza was always sun par anyway. Thedeath of papa John?s is here. Never. Ever. Order from these guys. Read more
July 9,2022: I have been a customer of the Papa John's at Hillsmere Drive, Annapolis for over 8 years. This evening we order... online and after 55 minutes we called to check on our pizza. The online app stated still processing. My husband calls to checkon it ( we are hungry) and the man that answered told him to check on it on line. We told him it stated "still processing"; Hetold us " you will just have to wait ". How much longer should we wait we asked and was told " until door dash can get it toyou". The tone of his voice as rude. We again ask for a best guess as to the time and He told us, we will just cancel yourorder and he hung up on us. I realize getting people to come to work is difficult, but there is no reason to be rude tocustomers who supported your business for years. Very disappointed. Will not order again. Read more
Ordered 1 pizza online at 6:40 pm. Advised it would be delivered by 7:10 pm. At 7:40 pm called store. Said no reason to call. I... disagreed, as service was exceptionally slow. Employee told me he was cancelling order and hung up on me. Support your localbusiness instead of this national chain that has very poor service. Read more
Short story short, I ordered the pizza at 1917 and got the status of it being on the way at 2134. Then the status symbol changed... to delivered even though I never got the pizza. What was more infuriating was the fact that I called to get a refund and got thecall hung up on me 7 times. Ordered online at 5:50 (one pizza with cheese and meat) - arrived in shop at 6:15 , pizza was not started yet - no explanation ,... pretty confused, just had to sit there for 15 min - I thought maybe I went to the wrong location like a dummy but apparently thepizza just had not yet been started even though the link that I received via email said it was ready. No ?my apologies?, noreal explanation for what happened, no discount etc. Just an overall very low grade experience. Ordered takeout a lunch pizza here in early October and the pizza was what I expected. It's been many years since I had a Papa... John's Pizza and not much has changed. This location however was clean, service friendly, and my pizza was ready in 10 minutes.Give a thumbs up if the review or photos are helpful???? Read more
It was horrible. Two times in a row, I ordered food through phone call and it never showed up BOTH times. The manager was... incredibly rude. Even when the food does come, it?s not very good.
