Great choice of dark beers and the deviled eggs were amazing. The bartenders were attentive and friendly.
Visited the Ramshead Tavern for dinner tonight before the Gavin DeGraw show and started off with the Mango Cosmopolitan...chased... with a Budlight of course, it was fabulous. My entre was the Bistro Filet Medallions with mashed potatoes and asparagus and itwas spot on! My wife had the Veggie Burger and said it was fantastic. There is outside patio seating as well as a pub locatedunderneath the street level bar which is very interesting. Our server was very attentative and went out of there way to ensurewe had a fine dinning experience before the show. We really had a great dining experience and recommend you give it a try whenin Annapolis. Read more
We ordered delivery because of being rained on during the evening. My son loves Sherpherds pie and when the $18 Shepherds Pie... came and it was in the same size container as the $8 bowl of soup. The "crabby tots" had so much cheese on it you couldn't findthe "crabby" part of the dish. The soup was good, but overall a disappointing experience. Pre-show dinner last night (Restuarant) across the board top notch. Brussels Sprouts app, chefs special Snapper Newberg & a... finished with a hot brownie desert. Our server was nothing less than incredible she shared her favorites - we followed & glad wedid. (Big tip) Much more than pub food. Read more

Service was attentive and good was mostly fine. Steak was nicely seared, juicy, and well seasoned. Salad was well assembled,... with crispy greens, fresh toppings, and good proportions of ingredients. Crab was the sad, dry, jumbo lump with nondescriptflavor usually found in south Asian pasteurized crab imports rather than the sweet blue crab common here, succulent Dungenessoften substituted, or other even the cheap but flavorful Jonah, used in both the crab dip and cake. Even surimi would have beenan improvement. They should 86 the crab items if they can't source ingredients worth using. Read more
I don't give everyone five stars... but tonight you guys deserve it. Came w/ a party of 5 to see Dave Tieff/Laughing Colors... acoustic show at Rams Head Onstage/next door and had dinner here before the show. I ordered a plain Reuben on a burger bun w/cheddar cheese and fries and they knocked it out of the park. My friend had the pulled pork sandwich and you couldn't get himto talk because he didn't want to stop eating it. His son had the fish and chips and said they were as good as another place wefrequent that has amazing fish and chips, so that about sums up his dinner. My wife had the Shepard's pie, which I tried andreally liked, but was lacking a little on taste/flavor? So 8/10 for the Shepard's pie... I will ask for extra gravy if I comeback and order it for myself. Our other friend ordered the taco chicken salad and that was also a walk-off home run. Ourserver was prompt, checked on us periodically and the kitchen brought our food out in a surprisingly short amount of time, too, for a packed Saturday night. Bonus for the Tavern - we ran into some friends on the way into the venue part of the building andasked them how their dinner was and all four said "fantastic". Can't beat that advertising. One suggestion - If you're goingto see a show and want to eat at the tavern, use the app to make a reservation a few DAYS in advance or you'll have to try yourluck at Stan and Joe's or find somewhere else to eat: They had to turn people away at the door who didn't have reservations. Presentation of drinks and meal were spectacular. Unfortunately that as far as it went. Their famous Bloody Mary was horrific,... and food was over cooked and bland. Service was below average also! Read more
