We had a great wedding anniversary afternoon tea there. When we arrived, the tea room was almost just us, people gradually... settled in after noon. They offer lots of loose leaf tea choices, and many are pregnancy friendly and with healing or boostinghealth effects. We ordered on high tea and one afternoon tea, filling for both of us. We didn't have lunch and a lightbreakfast. And then we walked up all the calories we took in in such a walkable city town area. Lots to see. Parked in thenearby paid parking lot. We brought my mother-in-law here for her birthday and it was absolutely perfect. Appetizers and entrees were all delicious and... the cocktails were perfectly done! The margaritas are amazing-fresh lime juice and just a hint of agave for sweetness. All in acharming, historic atmosphere. Cleo, our server was so cheerful and terrific! This was my very first time ever experiencing a formal tea and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was more... than accommodating, getting my wheelchair into the building and getting me set up at the table. Once we were comfortably seated,the staff was warm, friendly and engaging. They took their time explaining the 3-tiered trays and it's contents and gave usplenty of time to enjoy their delicious treats. And the tea was superb. I had all-lemon tea, that was truly succulent. I highlyrecommend Reynolds Tavern if you are ever in Annapolis. Read more
One of my most favorite places to visit. The staff are courtesy, efficient, and friendly. My visits are usually for afternoon... tea. The tea options are exceptional with a nice ambience. Try the colonial high tea and grab the cream of crab soup. I promiseyou will not regret it. My only negative would be acquire maybe one additional bathroom for the main level for the amount oftraffic. Read more
Very cool place with a cool history too! We were just wandering around Annapolis and popping in various places, so only grabbed... a couple drinks here. The inside is beautiful, and feels very old and traditional. I love it. They also have a large beautifulpatio area, which is where we sat. The patio has its own bathrooms and bar as well. It would be a great date night or work partylocation. They also have an Inn upstairs - but didn't investigate that. All told, I definitely recommend giving this place atry! Read more
This is a wonderful historic gem. We chose the colonial high tea, which is an afternoon tea with the addition of a soup, salad... or quiche. All the food was wonderful! They have some tea blends I’ve never seen at other tea shops. The setting was veryrelaxed and there was no pressure for us to leave. We had a fantastic afternoon. I’d definitely return for tea, but I’mplanning to come stay at their B & B too. Read more
This place was super cute! We had a girl's day out with afternoon tea. We were able to each pick out one tea to try and then we... got a whole pot of that tea to ourselves. We were served two platters with an array of treats. Bottom was scones with cream andjam, middle was sandwiches and savories, top was sweets/desserts. Everyone got one of each item to try. I don't think there wasa single thing I didn't like. Everything was unique and really tasty. We loved the atmosphere of the place and the experiencewas a lot of fun. The only reason I knocked off a star is because the server seemed a little unhappy to be there. Might notnecessarily have been her intention but it did dampen the mood a little bit. Overall though we would definitely come back fortea but we'd also like to try the regular food and even the pub one of these days. Read more
Really enjoyed tea here with a friend! We had a great time with the selection of teas, the charming service, and the delicious... food. The staff packaged up some teas for me to take home that weren't already available in the shop. The waitstaff was so kindand made the whole experience more enjoyable.
