My wife and I just moved to Annapolis and were craving Indian, so we gave this a try. First of all, the name has changed - it's... now Memos Bar and Grill and although it still has roughly the same Indian menu, it's not an Indian restaurant. The good: Goodportion size and the food was hot The bad: Overpriced and underflavored. I got the chicken kabobs and I honestly couldn't tellthat they were chicken. They were dry and flavorless and I couldn't finish. My wife got the Chicken Tikka Masala and while thesauce had some good flavor, the chicken itself was bland. Read more

The meals we got were as good or if not worse than a frozen Indian meal from the grocery store. My chicken saag was watery and... had zero flavor. There were more tomatoes than chicken. I ordered medium and couldn't taste an ounce of spice. Portions are tinyfor the price. Should of known something was off when a Indian restaurant doesn't serve samosas. We also got butter chicken thathad the same lack of flavor and was watery. Read more

My wife and I have met here for lunch for years. It's six minutes drive for each of us from work and we both like Indian food. ... Buffet lunch fit her half hour schedule. No more buffet! My wife said in the end the extra ten minutes for lunch was wellworth it. High praise indeed. Read more

Just ate here today to try their lunch buffet. They charge us 14.99 per person. There not enough choices of food. I came to try... the tandoori chicken and we arrived there at 12pm . When we arrived there’s only one drumstick in the tray of tandoorichicken. I asked the server if they plan to refill the tray and he said yes. We ate the tikka masala chicken and the goat meatwhich is tender. The tandoori chicken tray didn’t get refilled until we we’re already finished eating. The flavor of thefood is not as flavorful as the other Indian restaurants I tried. I rather try a different restaurant than come back here. Read more

I haven't been here since before the pandemic. I asked for lamb vindaloo, extra spicy. It was not extra spicy, probably just a... medium spicy range. There was only one person working and Jerry Springer was on TV. I'm paying quite a bit to be there, pricesare high, and it just didn't give me the ambience I expected. I won't be returning. The mixed biryani with both meat and seafood is superb! Excellently done! I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered: bindi (okra... dish), Goan fish (lacked spice heat and salt), mixed kebab (was really tasty), garlic naan, etc. I'd come here again just forthat biryani! Read more

Royal Karma is a little tucked away nook of flavor. I have to recommend the samosas and the Malai kofta. Amazing! The bartender... Javier was attentive, And his timing couldn't have been better. We will be getting our Indian food fix here from now on! Read more

Had been to Royal Karma few years ago, as it’s about 30miles away from my place and I clearly remember we had liked the place,... m wondering what happened to it now.COVID hit?? Anyways, as soon as we entered on a Saturday afternoon, There was no one toattend us, we were the only people in the restaurant so felt pretty “ROYAL”. It felt as if one man was running the show, heattended us, took a long long time for the orders and the drinks. Hats off to him coz he was the delivery guy for cateringorders & other pickup orders and possibly was assisting the chef as well ????. Food was okay, kinda pricey, nothing exceptional. The extra stars are for previous experience. Read more
