The food was delicious and service was great! I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner is really nice lady!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner in a wonderful setting! We ordered the garden salad, French onion soup, kaiser schnitzel and sea... scallops. Everything was perfectly cooked and flavourful. The seared scallops were soft on the inside and the vegetables werebeautifully presented on a colourful vegetable purée. One cannot beat the setting in this lovely room or on the patio as thesun sets. Service was attentive, friendly and efficient and the owner/chef was delightful. Food is great, the patio is divine. I don't even have kids but i find the no children policy a bit bizarre -- it is rigorously... enforced. Schnitzel is great, deserts are good too! I recommend booking for the back patio if possible. Read more

Delightful experience! As restaurant operators ourselves, it is not easy to impress us , but we were impressed. The location... and view are fabulous ! This was the best food I?ve had in Nova Scotia. I had the scallop linguine and holy it was amazing. The Apple Strudel is on its... way and I?m sure it will be just as good. Excellent service by the owner Amanda and her team. Clean and beautiful decore with Austrian art and history. Beautiful... classical music in the background and interesting art pieces enhance the experience. We didn't have a booking but Amandaaccommodated us with much warmth. We loved everything we ordered. Right by the sea, this restaurant has great food. Owner as well as staff are very helpful and make you feel at home. Menu is... great and every dish is cooked fresh. If you come to Annapolis Royal, you owe it to yourself to have a meal here. We had amemorable supper here on patio looking at the sea and can't wait to try more dishes. Read more

The best seafood I've ever tasted. Digby Scallops and Haddock. The lady that ownes the place lost her husband to covid, she was... such a nice person. She was training a young man to serve and you could tell she is a good employer by the way she treatedhim. Can't say enough about how beautiful the building, view and experience was. Cheers! Read more
