From the moment we walked in, we loved this place. Excellent serves from hostess Shannon and Server Brent. And the food was... superb. We can recommend the Halibut and Blue dot beef. I had the pleasure of dining here twice while visiting family, once for dinner and the morning after for brunch. It was a... wonderful experience, and I am still surprised that such a small town has such a great restaurant. Our dinner was spectacular;our waiter was kind and attentive and each dish was well crafted with high quality, local ingredients. What a pretentious place. Very limited choice ( 3 entrees ). EVERY item on the menu needed explanation, and was not what it... seemed as it was just a list of ingredients. Refused to let my wife have the 5 course sampler if I had A-la-cart 3 courses. Theysaid the kitchen couldn't cope with different number of courses at the same table! Some of the food tasted great, some was justaverage. VERY small portions, you will leave hungry unless you're on a diet. 3 courses + drinks cost approx $100/head. We hadmuch better food, service & value at Restaurant Compose and The Whiskey Teller in Annapolis Royal. Then again, if you likepaying through the nose for this kind of pretense of dining, then you will love it. Read more

Found this little gem when I was working in the area. It gave me the feeling of complete relaxation the vibe, air and music made... me feel like I was watching bob ross paint….so relaxing. The food I had was the pork shoulder, so juicy so good I highlyrecommend this spot. Read more

What an incredible dining experience! We loved every bit of our meals - from the wonderful servers who explained the courses... beautifully and made wonderful recommendations for beverage choices to the meal itself. The chef was even able to make a changeto a course to remove shellfish from the second course. I hope to get back there soon! Read more

I have been there both for dinner and brunch. Both times, the whole experience was fabulous. The food is exceptional. Attention... to detail, fantastic combination of tastes and textures. Without a doubt this is one of the best restaurants in all of Atlantic Canada and possibly the country. My partner and I came... here for the Valentine's Weekend prix fixe and were blown away by the quality, value, attention to detail, ambiance, and levelof service. The butter-poached lobster with truffle shavings was probably the best lobster we had ever had in all of NovaScotia, and the beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a true melt-in-your-mouth quality. We ordered the winepairing with our meal and were delighted to find that all four courses were paired with local NS wines, which perfectlycomplemented each course. This restaurant could easily stand among the most critically-acclaimed fine dining establishments inToronto and beyond, and I cannot recommend it enough. Read more
