I love visiting this family owned bakery and restaurant for their amazing German baked goods and the friendly service they... provide. It is usually the mother or the daughter who is out at the counter. Great selection and always fresh. I only ever visitthe bakery side. I find the restaurant, while the food is tasty the prices are high for what you actually get even taking intoaccount the recent rise in prices. Read more

Stopped for Saturday morning coffee while on a motorcycle tour. We ended up having their breakfast and way too much pastry. The... breakfast was very tasty and the pastry absolutely the best quality. The menu was extensive and very German. The variety ofpastry would put a big city bakery to shame. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly. we ate on the beautifullittle patio fitted with comfortable chairs and table with a umbrella. Everything was clean as a whistle. Went to check this place out while working in the area. Got there just before the rush. It?s a small family owned business. I... went for the German wiener / sauerkraut. Wow amazing I?m a huge fan of sauerkraut but never had it with bacon bits and warm.Delicious. Tried two of the pastries as well both were good. The restaurant is well maintained and very cute. I had a small, boring sandwich with 3 thin slices of deli meat, and it came to $21. Unbelievable. Also I checked the inspection... reports and they didn't follow public health restrictions, plus also obstructed the inspector. They also have a bunch of otherfood safety issues listed in their inspections. I would definitely give this place a miss. Read more

They have a warm, inviting atmosphere and delicious fresh food! It's authentic German cuisine, made in house. Sandwiches are... served on freshly baked bread and rolls. They have many choices of sandwiches, dinners, and snacks. We didn't have to wait verylong for our food considering they were a bit busy when we arrived. I had the schnitzel sandwich, the schnitzel was the perfectsize for the roll and the Kaiser roll tasted very fresh. It was a nice amount of food for lunch. The only drawback is that theprices are pretty high for what you get. Lunches are $10-$15 for a sandwich with no sides. Larger meals range from $15-$25. What an amazing, mouth-watering, delicious experience this was! It was the first time I had ever been there, my boyfriend had... been before and said as we started on our vacation, he wanted to take me there for lunch! We were greeted by whom I believe wasthe owner, she was pleasant, funny and welcoming! We sat outside and ordered beer and wine and our food. I felt so fancysitting on a patio, breeze blowing, ordering a glass of wine with my love, on a Tuesday afternoon! I never really get to dothose kind if things! I ordered the paprika schnitzel with sauerkraut and potatoes and my boyfriend had the gulash withspatzel...omg! Amazing! Authentic, flavourful, and fresh! We then had a delicious dessert of some sort of sour cherry andraspberry danish which we devoured before I could even snap a picture. They were amazeballs! We then proceeded to head out withan assortment of cookies for our trip! Which...all were a delicious flavor adventure! We will be back again and again!
