We found it hard to find a place to eat near our bed and breakfast as it was a bit later at night. This place was listed in... their binder of recommendations, so we figured we'd try them out. We were kind of caught off guard when we walked in - as weweren't sure if they were doing dine in. Many lights were off, and there was only one small table open. The rest were pushedaside, or covered in pizza boxes. I'm assuming that a significant portion of their business has shifted to delivery with COVID.The staff seemed quite busy so we sort of just stood around the counter until we could grab their attention. Before we ordered,they let us know that the fryer wasn't working, which removed about half of their menu. That must have been a challengingweekend for them. We ordered a small pizza, a small garlic fingers, and a large donair. All beverages were bottled/canned so wejust got some bottled water. They don't do table service so we ordered at the counter and then went to sit down to wait for ourfood. Pricing was very reasonable. Although we were dining in, everything was brought to us in takeout containers. I'm thankfulthey use compostable/recyclable options! The pizza overall was good - I had asked (and paid) for double pineapple and therewasn't much on there. It was cooked well, the crust was a nice flavour, and the mozzarella had a great pull to it. Their tomatosauce is quite acidic but I like it that way - it was good. Pleased that they use real mushrooms!! Garlic fingers werestandard. My husband's donair was huge! He said the meat was really good, he would have just preferred a little less meat in itas he didn't get much of the lettuce, tomatoes, etc. That's a personal preference though so you'll never please everyone there.Overall, it was hot and we were hungry. Our second time eating here and this experience was as good as the last. Pizza was excellent and was baked in a pizza oven, some... of the best I have ever eaten. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming and we're knowledgeable about peanut allergies as mygirlfriends is very severe, she felt very safe eating there. Restaurant is clean and tidy and the prices are very reasonable. Wedecided to go for a drive but our main reason for travelling an hour and half was to go here and eat. Great menu as well!
