Great dinner. Family run and been around forever because you get good honest food and good prices served be a great staff.
Based on reviews, I was disappointed. The food was only average, we had a cheeseburger and Patti melt, both with fries. The... fries were the best part. We took cookies and 2 pcs of pie to go, again only ok, nothing to get excited for. I will say,though, the 2 young ladies working there were sweet, helpful and kept busy. Read more
I came here as a child. I and my brother with his son came back to visit and was pleasantly reminded of days long ago. OMG The... Malts were just like before. So happy to see the standards were kept in place. Best of all they're still family owned!!NICE. Read more
Great place to grab some breakfast or burger. Its one of the most nostalgic places in my life. I enjoy looking at the pictures... of the place from back in the day. Reminds me of the good old days. Kirby, the cook used to throw pickles at me when I was akid. Always a friendly welcoming atmosphere. If you listen closely, you can still hear Ed yelling in the back in the kitchen. Read more
Oooooh My Goodness this is one of the best meals I've had so far on Our( mom & me) trip from California to visit the Pesl's. I... had the daily special Beef Stew & dumplins , my mom had Hamburger sammich with taters & gravy & Ma T had Bacon cheese burgerw/fries & Rod had cheese burger w/ fries & All was wonderful. Oh & we brought home a piece of homemade pumpkin & coconut creampie. We also had their Kolaches on Friday! I HAVE TO GET RECIPE FOR THESE!! Our server was most excellent even though she seemed to be newer. Customer Service was awesome. Food was hot and plentyful at a... decent price. I ordered the Jumbo Cheeseburger and it truly was JUMBO SIZE and tasted AWESOME. The Hamburger bun was eventoasted. My wife and I Chose to get the MEGA FRIES and share them. There was a lot of them and for only $5 at the time ofwriting this review (it was under APPETIZERS). My wife had LIVER & ONIONS and she said it was most delicious ????????. This isthe type of Ma & Pa Restaurant you remember to come back to. So if you are ever in Antigo, Wisconsin. You should stop ???? onin. Read more
Ordered breakfast and the jumbo burger (2 patties) only came with one. I asked for cheddar cheese and was given Swiss. Asked for... BBQ and was given ketchup. Asked for mayo and didn't receive any. Asked for grilled onions and they were raw. The ranch waswatery and the lettuce was soggy. The meat was disgusting and they also forgot the jelly for the toast. Read more
