This was a nice surprise for dining out. They happily took our dogs on the patio, staff were extremely friendly! The choice of... food and drinks was good and we pondered a long time. We had a great small starter, great size and taste! Well done. The maincourses were very well prepared and presented. The taste was awesome. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Stopped here for lunch on the drive from Cape Breton to Halifax and it was such a treat! We tried the Lobster and Shrimp Bisque... which features a hallowed out Scallop filled with shredded shrimp and lobster and it is indescribably delicious. We couldn’thelp but also split the Baked Lobster and Shrimp Mac N Cheese. It was excellent, with a creamy béchamel sauce. Good Ceasars.Antigonish was cute. We recommend! Read more
Holy smokes was that ever good! There a critic's review of their crab cakes posted at the entrance training about his good they... are, and I can attest that they truly are excellent. First they were very accommodating by allowing my dog on the patio. The server brought water out for her and engaged my pup in... an extremely way. The food was fantastic with prices reflecting the quality. My daughter doesn't like any sauce on her calamariand was upset when it came with sauce drizzled on her food. The server was quick to volunteer a new batch without usasking. Overall, the service was next level and the food was top quality. I highly recommend a stop here. Read more
So I decided to try this place based on most reviews of quality. I don’t mind paying higher prices for really good food. The... portion sizes definitely do NOT match the prices. The apps specifically are way overpriced for what you get. We asked how bigthey were prior to ordering and the response was “regular”. Was the food good, yes. Would I have been happy to spend a thirdof the price at a different restaurant, also yes. Overall, meh. Read more
