They didn't have the Mushroom Swiss Burger I've gotten everytime I have ever ate at Steak 'n Shake in my life. Granted I usually... go to the store in Hermitage & its always great. This location the burgers were thrown together & Luke warm the fries were coldon top of they didn't have what I wanted. I ended up taking 2 bites of the buger & ate 1 fry before I threw it away. The nextmorning my dinner ended up coming back up!!!! That's the last time I eat at this location. The Shake was the only thing good.... Read more
Absolutely deplorable... I used to love thier food and service. Reminded me of the good Ole days diners and now, it's a shell of... a place with o service or personality. This particular location is basically self-service. Ordering kiosks, with five employeesstaring at you from the back. No one else in the dining room but me and my husband. Wet floor signs everywhere and yet the floorwas sticky and the glass signs between booths covered in yuck. We ordered dine in service and yet we're beckoned to a counter topick up our food. Which was just plain disgusting. The onion rings were under cooked and freezer burnt. Ironic. The burger wasnot exactly cooked to perfection and was so soggy it wrapped over my fingers. My husband got a chili dog, it was basically openfaced and the chili was like soup. Which meant he had to eat it with utensils, of which, there were only spoons available. Regular sized hot dogs instead of the iconic foot longs are the only options. The fries were even undercooked. The employeesacted bothered by our presence in the building and I can imagine how hard of a job it is when you get tips for doing nothing atthe kiosk. My first visit in a few years. No more servers, everything is self service. You place your order at a kiosk then wait for your... name to be called. It's become a fast food operation. Food quality was good, and my order was ready very soon after placing it.Not many customers, and some people left when they found there was no table service. All in all a good experience but I stillmiss the old days. Read more
Burger didn't have the same delicious flavor, but it was OK... my adult daughter and I were the only customers, but several... employees... impersonal because no communication with workers due to having to use kiosk. I don't expect to visit often likein the past! Read more
Chain burger joint that I?ve been to in a couple of states and am usually impressed by quality. Ordered a garlic cheeseburger... with fries and the flatmate got a triple with cheese and cheese fries. The burgers were good, juicy and mine was garlicky,salty and buttery. They were squashed though. Rammed into a bag, under fries and wrapped in wax paper with no rigidity. If thebag is that full, use a second. That said, good burgers and crisp fries, pleased with eats and I?d go back. Customer service was horrible. I Wanted a banana strawberry milkshake and I was told they can't mix fruits. Got my milkshake and... it spilled because the cover didn't fit the cup. Then the cup started leaking from the bottom. Who serves milkshake in a foamcup ???? had the put the cup in another cup. Very disappointed. Read more
