This place has nice friendly servers. The food is excellent and they are known for their prime rib, which is delicious!! My most... recent visit, I had a meatball and sausage sandwich. Again...delicious!! The dining area is about 12-15 tables, a separate bararea with a few booths, and banquet halls for events. I would recommend to anyone looking for excellent food! Read more
I'm extremely disappointed in my experience at this restaurant... We decide to go here on a first date (exciting right?!) he... makes a reservation for 6:15 thinking it could be/get busy. As soon as we get there we are put at a table which is great and Ilike the ambiance it has a nice family feel... As we're waiting for our waitress we of course start talking and both don'tnotice that it's been awhile without someone getting our drink order... when the waitress gets to the table she apologized forthe wait and got our drink order and food order at the same time and we continue to talk and and she pretty quickly brings thesalad and drinks for us... time is going by quickly and then we notice people around us getting sat down and having their foodbrought out as we are still waiting. About an hour goes by and the waitress brings us a $5 voucher for our wait... another halfhour goes by and we still have no food while people around us are getting their food with no delay... we finally ask thewaitress to bring it to go because after an hour and a half we were ready to leave and he had a son he needed to pick up. Handeda $50 tab and paid for it all before we get any of this food... We ordered lasagna and chicken parmigiana... A year ago today my parents got married at Donolis. So last night for their fairy first anniversary we took them back to the... restaurant it could not have worked out better. We were in the same room at the same table with the same waitress as of the daythey got married. Hannah is our waitress and she was fantastic Natalie did she remember the day of the wedding and rememberedwhat my parents wore but when we got dessert she had the staff come in and sing happy anniversary to them I am so grateful toher for making this memory so wonderful for them. Just ate here for the first time with family. The atmosphere was very approachable and casual, we were greeted and told we could... seat ourselves when we entered. There's a bar side and a "dining room" in the restaurant, and we decided to sit in a booth onthe bar side because we thought it was a little cozier and actually quieter than the dining room. After we sat down, a waitresswas right with us to bring water, and came back quickly to get our drink orders. She was friendly and consistently there when weneeded something but not over-attentive. I started with their house Blackberry Sangria (red wine base). It was a lot sweeterthan I was expecting (and went down super easy as a result) but very tasty. They also had a Peach Sangria with white wine, whichmy parents ordered and I tasted, and this was equally good. Then I got my salad and breadsticks appetizer. The breadsticks werereally nice - they were like a homemade version of an Olive Garden breadstick. I loved their Italian dressing too, it was veryvinegar-y. I had the Lobster Ravioli for my entree. I really liked the unique touch of the seafood cream sauce instead of aplain white sauce, and the filling was delicious. For dessert, I had the Tiramisu, and had a taste of the Lemon Berry MascarponeCake and Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake that my parents ordered. The cake was a little crumbly but still good, and otherwiseeverything was lovely. The cheesecake might've been my favourite for the texture which was like heaven for the one bite that Ihad. The portions were really generous (my mom and I had leftovers), and the prices are great for how much we got and how goodit was. Read more
5 star experience! The service was top notch and the food was amazing! 5 stars for sure! Be sure to give them a try! The prime... rib was the best I have ever had and the lobster tail was huge and perfectly cooked! And be sure to try the scallops! Our waitress was excellent. My prime rib was cooked perfectly, tender, and bigger than advertised. Donoli's is known for their... prime rib, I've gotten it many times and it's always good. My wife got the seafood platter and really enjoyed it. Meals comewith a variety of sides to choose from. Prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. Tables are cleanand not packed together. Read more
