Great dinning room and wonderful staff. Food is very good. We tried three of the vegan dishes. The Dal Tadka was a little watery... but the Karaikudi was amazing. The Vegetable Manchuria was really tasty. AND they have cloth napkins, which I love. Overall itwas a really nice visit. Read more
If you're in a rush this isn't the place for you. They seem to be understaffed (like most places) but the food is... incredible. I've been to every Indian place within 20 miles and this is by far the best and more importantly- most consistentlygood Indian food I've found. If you come at a busy time expect to wait. The staff is very friendly but if you are rude andtreat the staff more like your personal servants- don't be surprised if your service is sub-par. I cannot recommend this placeenough if you are local to Apex or Cary. Read more
I wish I could give less rating than 1 star.... We ordered boneless chicken biryani & 555 chicken.... I did't even tasted... biryani yet, but after eating chicken 555, im posting this review. It is very dry and tasteless, no salt, no little oil... it'slike we are eating flour dried coated to chicken piece.... It is not at all fresh... and after eating few peaces I got stomachupset... I can understand how bad the chef is and how taste less the management is.... People with even little passion for foodalso do not make this kind of chicken..... Worst...worst...worst..... Never go.... I guess no Indians go to this place as theyknow the taste a bit..... but poor ppl who does not know what an Indian food might go this place... as they don't know what thereal taste is.... I came into town to visit my dad and we went to Bawarchi Tuesday night. We shared dishes and yesterday my dad was extremely ill.... I thought he just wasn't feeling well but then I started feeling really sick last night as well. I was up the entire night withstabbing stomach cramps, nausea, etc etc. And we realized that the Indian food was the only possible culprit as we were bothfeeling fine and didn't share any other food or go anywhere else. My dad had to call in from work yesterday and I cannot get outof bed or eat anything still today. Very sick!!!! ???????????? The color/taste of the butter chicken was off and not like anyI've ever had before. The saag paneer was ok and I still thought the dal was good but none of this really matters because weboth clearly have some type of food poisoning or norovirus viral stomach bug from eating there. I actually remember seeing onthe wall their sanitation score which is currently 88, and I remember thinking that is pretty low compared to other places I'veseen. Went thr with a big hope of great food but ???? …. Service was super slow . Paneer butter masala and butter chicken was 0 out... of 10. It felt like we were eating ketchup with chicken and sugar in it. Btw butter chicken is never red specially this redand extremely sweet ????. Chicken fried rice and garlic naan was amazing. Read more
Good ambience and music but not so good food and service. Amongst all that we ordered, only Apollo fish was excellent, rest all... was not meant for our palates. It was mediocre but won’t order those dishes anywhere else too. Had Mandakini goat and AvakaiBiryani for the first time so can’t comment much as we weren’t expecting sweetness in a spicy kolhapuri dish and so muchpickle in Avakai Biryani. Tandoori pomfret was served on a sizzler plate but no salt or spices there. Lemon is a must with Fishso please don’t skip serving it. Again service could have been better by simply asking “is everything okay? or Do you needanything else?” We had to wait until our meal was finished to order mango lassi and lemon soda. No complaints on the Portionsas they are big enough to share. Read more
