We are visiting family in the area. Our family raved about it, and we were excited to try it This was our first time to the... restaurant. The service was amazing, and the food was spot on! We even found out that our server, Kim, and another employee areFSU Seminole fans, as are we. The food is made fresh in the restaurant. We had the cheese Ravioli and the Spinach and ShrimpFlorentine. The bread and marinara that they bring to the table was phenomenal! We will definitely put this on our list when wevisit the area again! Read more

Been passing Daniel's since I moved to this area and I finally had a chance to stop in for lunch. I was warmly greeted as I... stepped inside and sent to a table. It took a while for the waitress to come to my table and I thought I was being ignored, however this was not the case as I found out that she was the only waitress for the entire section that had about sixtables. She made her way over to me and took my order. I decided to get the lasagna that was a lunch special. A part of thelunch special was their fresh bread and a choice of salad. I went with their garden salad that came with a choice of dressing. Igot their creamy vinaigrette that was delicious. What was even more delicious was their lasagna! Omg! Every bite was just sogood-- a generous portion of fresh ricotta cheese, Beef, lasagna, all topped with marinara sauce. Oh wow! This is some of thebest lasagna I have tried state side! Even better was the price of just $10--and this is every day that they have a rotatinglunch special! Such a great deal for great food! Go! Read more

Terrible service? we left because our table never got ready! We waited for more than 30 minutes, we complained with the hostess,... the manager, and they didn?t resolve anything! Some tables were empty, very very disorganized! The manager had an attitude andcertainly doesn?t care about the clients? It was our first time and we are not coming back! (The only way to reply to themanager is here - First of all- I didn?t yelled at your 15 years hostess, usually she was sweet and tried to help, but she hadno power to resolve the situation! We sat at the bar to wait and she went there to give me an update! We stayed about 30minutes in there and decided to leave, because as per your comment I didn?t like your tone in person as well? online they sayyou guys don?t make reservations, so not really my fault! Your response as a professional manager should be an apologize, andnot fighting back to a first time client AT ALL! I came from a place Italian Restaurants are top notch, and I feel disappointedwith the service we received? and I am sorry but it?s my right to post a review!) Read more

We decided to come here to celebrate a birthday dinner and so happy we did! I always get nervous trying out new places for a... special occasion but the reviews said this was a good spot and it didn?t lie! Everything was very fresh and tasted great! Theybring out fresh bread with marinara, which is really good! The fettuccine Alfredo and penne alla vodka pasta were both veryyummy. Good amount of sauce and creamy. We had great service too. Always attending our table and the food came out in a timelymanner. Definitely made for a great spot to celebrate a birthday dinner Read more

I am so glad I finally tried this place. They're exactly what I've been looking for. Good, traditional recipes prepared with... pride. The veal franchaise was perfectly prepared with a wonderfully balanced sauce. The marinara and meat sauce are both deepin color and rich in flavor. I'm quite sure they both were prepared with red wine, which I love. After walking past the dessertcase and seeing the heaping mounds of homemade whipped cream and finding out they're all homemade, including the tiramisu, I ofcourse had to take home some sweets, all of which were wonderful. The vibe is very nice, traditional and family friendly and myserver, Kim, was exceptional. She was welcoming, efficient, took her time to answer all my questions, and spoke of the menuitems with great knowledge and genuine enthusiasm. I can't wait to return for another wonderful experience. Read more

Wow this place was busy! Had to wait for a parking spot. We were lucky and got two spots at the bar. The bartender, Darrin, was... quick and attentive to us while keeping up with all the drink orders. I had the Fettuccine Daniel. My wife had the ChickenPicata. Both of our meals were hearty and we couldn't finish them. I would have preferred the broccoli cut a little smaller. Mywife loved hers. I would definitely recommend Daniels for anyone wanting great Italian food. We were too full to try any dessertbut a couple near us ordered the jeloto and said it was very good. The interior decor is a little dated and could use afacelift. As we learned once we got there, they did take reservations. Read more

Daniels is very popular and now I know why. First of all, the parking lot was very crowded as they do a tremendous take out... business. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Quality of the seating is why I rated them 4 stars instead of 5. Fourof us were seated at a booth meant for 2. None of the booths appear to be large enough to seat 4 people comfortably. Also, theedge of the bench seat was broken and the cushions were no longer cushiony. Now for the great part. The food was amazing. Theyspecialize in central Italian foods, with use of heavier tomato based sauces and creams. We had the calamari appetizer which wasperfect, lightly fried with a spicy marinara dipping sauce. We also had the arancini which are crispy balls of rice and cheese. For entrees, the house specialty ziti comes with an excellent pink sauce that is complemented with fresh garlic and sun driedtomatoes. the chicken was seared and sliced very thin into the pasta. The veal parmesan was great, generous serving, crispyfried on a plate of pasta with just enough sauce. It was not flooded with gravy and was more than enough. There are severalshellfish options and we tried the pasta with clams, mussels and calamari. You can pick your choice of mild, medium or hot, which decides how much crushed red is added. Medium was just right. Now for my other passion: the wine list is extensive andpricing was fair on bottles. They have a full selection of wines from across the spectrum and their choices in Italian wines, especially Piemonte region was outstanding. The wines by the glass were not top notch, but who opens great bottles to sell bythe glass. Service was a little slow, but they were busy. We will come again and hope for better seating. Ottimo cibo e vino! Read more
