I came here for New Year’s Eve, best decision for the night! We had a 7:30 reservation and arrived a few minutes early. They... were packed, and the manager politely told us they were running a few minutes behind and he would take care of it for us. Thatwas just enough time to go enjoy a cocktail at the beautiful bar. Our table was ready around 7:50, and the manager gave us anappetizer on the house. I never asked, he offered, but I am understanding and it was New Year’s Eve for God sake! Theatmosphere was great, the food was outstanding, and the service was good. Our waiter was fresh on the job so I give him a pass.It was New Year’s Eve, he was doing the best he could and I am a logical guy. We had the tuna appetizer, my wife had filetmignon and scallops and I had the New York strip, and do not even get me talking about dessert! The kettle cookie was out ofthis world! All around, it was a great experience and we will do it again next year. The elephant in the room is the factthat there were some tax issues reported by the media, but I sure hope they have them resolved because this is what our areaneeds, a nice classy restaurant for dinner. Wow! Terrible experience! Never to return! Dark,Dreary,Depressing! Rude hostess, judge-mental behavior/dirty looks. No choice of... where to sit. Denied twice! Lights were darkened as we sat down, making our menu-reading almost impossible... overpriced drinks.Total lack of friendly, courteous customer service from bar staff, hostess and absent wait-staff. Hardly any vegetarian/veganfood options beyond an after-thought, lone veggie burger buried at the end of the menu. Extremely noisy bar staff, dumping ice,clanging bottles and avoiding customers. We have been here plenty of times for brunch and each time the service and food was amazing. The brunch menu is a little... limited but the 5 or 6 dishes we have gotten, out of a total of maybe 12-14 were all fantastic. We stopped in this past weekendat night for a few drinks and our server was extremely friendly and attentive. Great job! Read more

Arrived at 6:40 for a 6:45 PM reservation. Hostess tried to seat four of us at a small table near the doorway... entrance.....uhh...no. Hostess said she would find us different seating and dropped the menus very loudly onto the Hostessstation. Waited for them to bus/clean an already vacated booth with better seating. Seated and took a little longer thanexpected for drink order and appetizer. Appetizer (glazed brussel sprouts) arrived and we're under cooked, like they just cameout of the garden. Not impressed. 7:45 PM and main entrees finally begin to arrive.... Ugh......entrees not hot. Vegetableswe're cold. Sauteed mushrooms appeared and tasted like they were from a packet and previously dehydrated. Food taste wasseriously lacking. I expected much much more from this establishment. Will not come back. Terrific atmosphere. Beautiful interior without feeling Stuffy. The food was terrific and so was the service. Great place for a... casual breakfast or lunch or a dressy evening out. Service is friendly and warm and attentive without being overbearing.Intimate but friendly. Read more
