We ordered a BLT wedgie had pizza sauce on it. This is not how we ordered it and is not on the menu like that. We went out of... our way and called them(Donald) and asked if they could remake it the said we would have to pay for a new one. I gave a one starreview because of this we ate here for years and they said then been makeing them like that for year's this it not true and weshould not have to pay again for their mess up. ***BUYER BEWARE*** I called to order a whole steak sandwich for $10 on Sunday 12/13/2020. I was told it would be ready in 15... minutes and to call when I arrive -- they would bring it outside (Covid-19). I arrived on time and as instructed I called, and Iwas told they'd bring my sandwich out. ***BAIT AND SWITCH*** I handed them my debit card and was told they would have to chargean additional $1.00 since I was using a 'credit' card. I told her to keep the sandwich -- I would not pay an UPCHARGE on a deditcard purchase. She started she had already registered the sale. I explained that's not my problem and had she mentioned thisupcharge I would have never ordered the sandwich. ***THE UNDERLYING ISSUE*** Merchants pay up to a 3% fee to accept creditcards. That equates to 30 cents on a $10 sandwich. The Merchant's Credit/Debit Card Agreement generally does not permitsurcharges. In this case this merchant is earning a 70 cent or 70% profit on a credit/debit card transaction ($1.00 - $.30 =$.70). I've been ordering pizza and sandwiches from this Fox's franchise since they opened more than 30 years ago. I was nevercharged a surcharge and I'll NEVER place an order there -- EVER again. I guess I'll have to try out the new Fox's that recentlyopened in Spring Church. UPDATE: The Spring Church Foxes Pizza Den is now my go to Foxes. It is much cleaner and does notassess a surcharge. Ordered a 21 cut big daddy supreme last week with bread sticks and had it delivered for 24.79 , tonight we order a 16 cut Champ... with cheese and bread sticks and pick it up and they tell us 31.77 and when my wife questions it and opens the box it's a largeround pizza and they claim to never have heard of a champ. They say the "owner lady" changes the prices daily and they neverheard of a champ pizza. Never sending my money there again ! Read more
got a steak fry salad, The picture below shows that there was literally about three pieces of steak on my whole entire $10 salad... and I also asked for the fries well-done which you won?t see them in the picture because I?m busy re-cooking them because theywere not well-done whatsoever. when someone asks for something fried to be well done it should probably have some goldish colorto it?.not white. Pizza was decent and hot. Ready before the time they quoted me. Biggest downfall is they charge $1.00 and tax that dollar if you... use a credit/debit card. I dont think they should charge tax on that but what do I know. My bill was 27.03 but since I used mycard it came to 28.09. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Read more
Have never had a problem, always friendly and fix mistakes. But... PLEASE UPDATE YOUR ONLINE MENU (has not been updated since... end of June 2020)!!! Also *for new customers*, since this is locally owned some of the recipies are different. Must ask forwedgie sandwiches with no pizza/tomato sauce! ..Delivery can take a while some times but food is usually still nice and hot. Read more
I ordered my stuff. Mind you this is the third time I ate here in a while. I know it?s the virus time but they say call when get... there and they will bring it out. Pizza is cool and bread sticks are cool. Looks like they have been done for ten min. I show upon time and thinking I am getting hot stuff but no. Never going here again. They were rude apon answering then when the delivery driver arrived apologized for the original lady?s rudeness. Then The... delivery driver didn?t have any change said she would come back with it and never came back. Had better service from the kitchenin the county jail save a trip vandergrift and spring church foxes are where it?s at if your around saltsburg personally I thinkthey are they best taste and service wise.
