My wife and I Love Dickey's and decided to treat our son inlaw and family with a delicious Dinner. My wife called the Apple... valley location and was told she could not order on the phone and had to go online. The order was placed and paid for $128.53 .With confirmation # in hand. They said they had not received payment. We immediately checked our account and the total amounthas been deducted. They refused to give us our food. I actually had to speak to the franchise owner who still refused. Wecontacted corporate and they had to intervene. Dickey's name is suffering. Read more
Place is a joke. I had 4 $5 vouchers from Dicky's corporate office to make up for getting the wrong food. At a different... location. They wouldn't take them. They said they have nothing to do with corporate. Not wasting my time coming here again.Walked out the door hungry. Wish I would have checked the reviews ahead of time. Looks like someone had the same issue a fewmonths ago. I'm not interested in your generic comment to email you so you can make it up and try to look like you care. I seethat over and over on these comments. Same issues and you obviously don't care about fixing your issues. I'm not coming backhere, you lost a customer who really enjoys Dicky's. Guess I'll have to go to another location. Also from another post, I guessyou own the Victorville location, I'll be staying away from that one also. Read more
The second bad review I?ve ever written - I?m 72. My husband just discovered there is a Dickey?s BBQ in town. I looked up a... menu, which had no prices, found a couple of price lists, one which offered a pork rib plate with 2 sides for $12.95, one showed$15.95. I called to order takeout, but no one answered and only got a recording that stated a voice mailbox had not been setup. My husband drove to Dickeys, was told they never answer their phone, and he ordered the pork rib plate. He returned homewith 6 pork ribs and two sides, both in condiment size containers. The price? $27.96. Needless to say, we won?t return, willnot recommend, and will continue to be bewildered by the (non) service, rude communication, but mostly by the fact that theyremain in business?!? By the way, the ribs were tasteless. How sad for the original Dickeys. Read more
Same bad franchise owner as Victorville store. Doesn't accept online orders doesn't accept gift cards and doesn't accept coupons... that were sent to me from corporate as an apology for their two locations out here not participating in any of the currentoffers going on. I was told that the franchise owner Tim doesn't participate in anything that corporate does. It makes me wonderif he is even keeping up with the food quality and safety standards that Dickeys corporate puts out. Read more
Everything says they close at 9pm we came at 7:45pm. Staff say they are closed with the open sign still on. If you are going to... state you are closed then update your hours. And your staff are super rude. Your staff need to be retrained on customer service. Read more
I got a 3 meat plate today, with chicken and two portions of turkey. It was quite busy, but the two girls working were very... polite and worked well as a team. The food was delicious and hot. Read more
This is the fourth time I have patronized Dickeys Barbecue and the first time they were having an off day. The meat was tough... and dry, the sides were great, and honey... they shrunk the $2.25 drink cups. There was something in the ice cream machinethat did not even resemble the worst ice milk I have ever had. They did offer me a larger drink cup for just a quarter more. And the soda machine mixed the perfect soda. Did I mention the sides were great. I hope the corners cut are unique to thislocation as my last three times at different locations were much better. The staff was friendly but smiles were reserved. Dining in with wheelchair or stroller? You might be challenged but it is doable. Property is clean. Those of us with hearingchallenges will like this dining area as it is quiet, or, it was during my visit. Godspeed, Grumpy Grandpa. Read more
Me and my family really love this place. Dickey?s has been our favorite place to eat for a bit, we used to go every Sunday! That... is until they closed down, we went there earlier today on July 31st 2022 and there was a sign saying ?permanently closed?. Whata shame, we really loved their brisket but, no more.
