I would recommend avoiding the drive through until they figure out how to keep it moving effectively. They have two designated... parking spots to park drive through orders in but they don?t use them. Waited in line for over 10 minutes behind 3 cars while myonline order sat on the counter getting cold. It seemed like it was one car holding everything up. Just park them. Eventually Ijust left the line and went into the store to get my food (parked in one of the unused drive through spots). It was cold by thetime we got it. If the order isn?t ready when the customer is at the window, they should be parked in the designated spots. Iunderstand being short staffed and all, but customers are going to quit coming if their food is cold after spending $10-$15 ameal. I?m fine waiting for my food, but I want to wait for it to be prepared, not to get to a window to pick it up when it?salready done. On our first visit to the new Apple Valley location we were happy with our experience. The cashier Ian was very friendly and... helpful, we made sure to take advantage of their drink and dessert specials with a purchase. My wife ordered as ordered the[thai chicken] soup and [sesame chicken] salad combo, I ordered the bacon turkey bravo plus chicken and wild rice soup, and mysons orderes the grilled cheese / mac & cheese sandwich and bbq chicken sandwich [each with chip and drink with the youngestgetting a cookie]. The portions were very sizable and we left full! I really am a fan of their charged lemonaids, having triedthe strawberry mint, fuji apple cranberry, I wasnt too much of a fan of those but settled on a mix of the agave lemonaid + mangoyuzu citrus - yum! The atmosphere of the restaurant, the food options, and the service were all excellent, and ill definitelyreturn many more times in the future. Read more
I ordered for rapid pickup but it?s far from rapid. The staff in back are completely flustered and over worked, the drive... through lane is blocked off so you end up sitting at the window until you get noticed by someone to get your order. By the timesomeone came to the window I?d already been waiting at the window for 7 minutes. I was then told my order was not going to beready for ?a long while since we are very understaffed?. I do not blame the staff for this and the worker I talked to (Millie :)) was very apologetic about the situation. Food was awesome. It was super warm in there with the weather being crazy outside. The fireplace made all the difference. The... chocolate croissant is massively chocolatey (a lot more than most bakeries) but I love that. The wild rice soup and the saladsandwiches are always top notch. Read more
The new location is dismal at best. Tried a few times since they opened, months apart, and some of the worst experiences ever.... We typically order egg souffles and they have been burned each time. My frozen coffee is never even close to frozen. The drivethru wait is at minimum 20 mins long and they must make my drink almost immediately for it to be soupy when handed to me. Sodisappointing. Ever since they opened the new building on Cedar Ave, they messed up my every order three times so far. This is the last order I... got when I ordered through the app. Looks like a sandwich anyone can make at home. Wasted my $6. I only give it 2 stars because my tomato soup was delicious! We had to order from a kiosk, easy enough, but it said items were... out of stock when you can see them in the bakery case. Tried to swap out the cookie we ordered and what we really wanted andthey said it wasn?t possible.
