Went last night with my boyfriend, my friend and her boyfriend as well. Had a HUGE pretzel to start which was tasty. For dinner... I had the champagne poached lobster and scallops on risotto which was divine and the scallops cooked perfectly. My friend hadthe ribeye special which was delicious. I stole a few bites. Only thing that didn?t really cut it was the pad Thai my boyfriendhad. It was pretty bland and actually came out with no protein. When mentioned they did correct it and bring out the chickenrequested. However he was pretty bummed with the flavor and not really interested in finishing it. That?s the only reason forthe 4/5 stars. We will be back as I?ve been here before and he hasn?t, I assured him there are other things on the menu I knowhe will like. See you guys next time hopefully. Read more
Went for a company lunch and was extremely surprised with the price point to quality and presentation ratio. The food was... delicious, unique, and beautifully presented. The menu is super limited if you're looking for comfort food. This place pushesthe average taste-buds with unique flavor pairings and ingredients. I, personally, didn't find much I'd be willing to try. (Ijust have my own issues with many foods that can make going out difficult) I did want to push myself, so I did try the deepfried calamari appetizer and chose their chicken and waffles sliders as I had never had chicken and waffles before. (Which Iloved!) If you have picky eaters in your dinner party, I'd suggest looking at their online menu first to see what they offer.Their website is also visually appealing and easy to navigate! I enjoyed their "about the restaurant" section including theinspirations for the menu. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know who is able to be more adventurous with food thanI!!!! This was a very satisfying birthday dinner. We got lucky in that there were two dinner slots left for 5 person reservations, so... definitely don't wait until the last minute if you want in on a Saturday! But the atmosphere was comfortable, yet elevated, thestaff were all very nice and kind, and the food was excellent. All five of us were satisfied with everything we ate and drank,the proportions were perfect for everything, and there were options for things you just can't get much of here in the FoxValley. One of our favorite restaurants in Appleton? the menu is great with many good options and the food is always delicious! They... have a great drink list as well, and you can grab one from the bar if there is a wait (which there usually is, especially on theweekend). Five of us all had different meals and we all loved them. A couple of us had mixed drinks that they really liked and ordered a... second round. Plenty of good beers too. Food was hot, fresh, and original. Portions were generous. The staff was friendlyand attentive. Read more
Neat place. Decent prices. Crab cakes were excellent. Fish fry was dry (overcooked). Good presentation, friendly service. Busy... on Friday nights. If you can't get a seat, service at the bar is great. Friendly bartenders were attentive and helpful. Iactually recommend sitting there. Read more
This spot has been on my list for a while now. We finally stopped by for our anniversary, and I think we have found our new... go-to spot for celebrations. Absolutely loved the poached lobster and jumbo scallops. The calamari and wild berry margarita wereexcellent as well. The staff were friendly, and we were seated very quickly. The menu here was unique and had so many options we all ended up taking suggestions from our server and it did not disappoint! I... had the ravioli and the sauce was light and paired nicely with the rich cheese in the pasta. My friend is gluten free and hadthe bourbon chicken bowl and really enjoyed it.
